Not bad tbh, I mean it's 200K down on last year but it seems like a low night for everything.

Josy 11-06-2016 06:31 PM

It's up against both the football and the f1 tonight

Technically, the football finishes at 9:50pm.

And BB starts at 10pm.

Either way, it's a Saturday and a lot of people will be out. It will be tragically low. But probably around 100k higher than very very low due to the hype about tonights episode.

650k? 650-800k was the norm for BB16 Saturdays I recall.

Its pretty split in DS.

Look at the thread saying "This is going to be really controversial" (the longer one, not the shorter one as that's about Ryan), and the thread is basically everyone saying they're loving it, best on C5 etc...

It's certainly getting more positives now, whereas launch was like 95% negative,

jackc1806 12-06-2016 08:53 AM

1.04m inc +1 (6.0%)

Will. 12-06-2016 08:55 AM

That's really good for a Saturday

Last year first Saturday only got 750K.

jackc1806 12-06-2016 08:55 AM

Decent rating last night considering it was predicted to fall flat on its arse

Will. 12-06-2016 08:58 AM

In fact that's the highest rated Saturday in the last 2 years apart from one Sat last year which got 1.10M.

One in Powe Trip got 1.05M but only had like 4% share.

Very very good there.

Highest Saturday rating since Week 7 of BB15 and before that since BB14. Oh apparently not

Makes me wonder, how will it fare this next week then? 1.3m?

Will. 12-06-2016 09:18 AM

football got like 10M

I'm disappointed.

I honestly expected much more considering the first game of World Cup 2014 against Italy got 14.4m on a much later 11pm-1am slot.

A lot of people watching in pubs?

Jake. 12-06-2016 09:25 AM

a good rating for a saturday :clap1:

Oh wow I didn't know that WC opening game got 14.4M!

I think a lot were, I heard loads of people walking around at like 12AM last night, chanting etc.

So I presumed they had been watching at a gathering/pub or some where.

TomC 12-06-2016 09:31 AM

wow, good rating.

*mazedsalv** 12-06-2016 09:35 AM

What do we think it will get tonight?

It seems they really should move it to 10pm this year. It's against Love Island and the Germany match.

This will be telling to see how it holds up against the Euros normally.

Will. 12-06-2016 09:38 AM

I think 1.1-2M perhaps.

1.3M possibly considering last nights was a great show and should attract all those that watched last night to watch tonight.

Probably. A lot of hype from last night can only help really. Its all down to the +1 ratings now when it's on at 9.

Start of series the +1 figures are never really over 200k. But as series progress the +1 grows. Previous CBB had only like 120k on +1 and then big events when it got ~400k.

Tonight that could happen if it's a good one

Rob! 12-06-2016 11:09 AM

970k without. That's pretty bloody good I think. Is this series capturing people?
Hasn't gone under a million with +1 since launch which is certainly more than people expected from it following it's dire launch rating.

Jason. 12-06-2016 11:12 AM

^ Yeah its retained quite a lot of it's viewers of launch night so far, which is a good thing.

Rob! 12-06-2016 11:14 AM

I think to a degree the damage is done. It's not going to go above it's launch figure but the 1.3m range is fairly decent I think. Still, it's early days yet.

Mrmattybeck 12-06-2016 11:46 AM

1-1.3m seems to be the norm for bbuk now interested to see how CBB summer rates

A lot of people watching in pubs?

Did they make a huge mistake putting it against bb?

Jake. 13-06-2016 09:27 AM

Big Brother: 1.06m (4.9%) exc +1

*mazedsalv** 13-06-2016 09:38 AM

I hope we get the +1 rating, hopefully it's quite large with it being against the match, Love Island and the fact it was a great episode.
