First season was amazing, Man in Black is one of the best characters on TV in quite some time. Hope he is back for S2.

Another fan :clap1: We seem to share interests in quite a few shows.

I'm sure Ed Harris will return. Less so about Jimmi Simpson but I hope we do see him again. I'd also be interested in an older Logan showing up to face off with Ed Harris.

A brilliant show indeed. Some truly fantastic roles portrayed by amazing actors!

I saw the original film when i was a wee nipper in the early 70's (at home on an original 16mm Cine Projector!) and , while it's not in the same league as the series, it scared the bejeezus out of me and i had nightmares for years afterwards that the original 'Man in Black' character, played by Yul Brynner, was hunting me down!

Katja Herbers has been cast as a series regular. http://deadline.com/2017/07/westworl...bo-1202126782/

Not familiar with her but it's nice to get the first new cast member confirmed.

I saw the movie a few years back one night when I couldn't sleep and it was on one of the lesser watched channels (ITV4 I think?) late at night. I'd never heard of it but I ended up loving it. Very different beast to the TV series but very enjoyable in its own right, need to give it a rewatch sometime. Also very ahead of its time.

22 Emmy nominations :clap1: (tied with Saturday Night Live for the most)

First trailer for season 2 :clap1:

Also Neil Jackson and Jonathan Tucker have joined the cast http://variety.com/2017/tv/news/west...on-1202502853/

The Man in Black surviving :clap1:

Lostie! 23-07-2017 05:35 PM

I think all of this footage will be from the first episode since they apparently only started filming very recently.

Lostie! 27-07-2017 09:46 AM

Confirmed that
Spoiler:

we'll see the outside world in season 2 http://www.looper.com/77221/westworl...de-park/?amp=1

"I think one of the things we're excited about for the second season is that beyond Westworld, you're going to get a look at the real world," Nolan said. "Season 1 was ambitious, but season 2 will be twice as ambitious in terms of scope and scale."

Lostie! 27-07-2017 11:41 AM

Also confirmed for a Spring 2018 airing https://medium.com/hbo-cinemax-pr/hb...w-dca4424c4c44

It's nice knowing we don't have to wait until autumn 2018 but I did like having it at that time of year (probably because it's my favourite time of year so having my new favourite show coincide with it was nice )

Crimson Dynamo 27-07-2017 11:45 AM

Spoiler:

I wish Maeve had stayed on the train tbh, it would've been more interesting

I actually think it's much more interesting that
Spoiler:

she got off because she was programmed to get on the train, getting off was her very first act of free will.

Oh I forgot about that

Spoiler:

Who programmed her/why was she programmed that way?
I thought the whole point of programming was for her to stay in the unreal world and have no idea of reality

I might have to rewatch tbh

It was never stated outright (I assume it will be next season) but it was heavily implied to be Ford once we found out he wanted to set the Hosts free. Also when one of the technicians checked who'd been modifying Maeve's code, it came up as Arnold (and we know Ford was finishing what Arnold started).

Locke. 31-07-2017 02:59 AM

Also confirmed to return Season 2.....

Spoiler:

Jimmi Simpson/young William!

Lostie! 31-07-2017 07:19 AM

I like Gustaf in Vikings (I mean, his character's pretty annoying but he's a great actor) so I'm definitely interested to see him in the show.

Lostie! 19-09-2017 10:56 PM

Hiroyuki Sanada is also joining season 2

Spoiler:

and there's already a Funko Pop of his character

Jamie89 02-02-2018 07:29 PM

Can't wait, I rewatched S1 recently and it was just as good on second watch (maybe even a bit better since I wasn't so confused). Got me really excited for S2

I'm definitely rewatching season 1 before season 2 starts. This show is perfect for it
