Oh having Denise abuse Patrick for like an episode was also a low point. Glad it was dropped.

I'm glad they dropped Linda's bulimia too. It was very too much too soon for her.

I remember when people predicted Ben would be Archie's killer as a joke and then 5 years down the line the 'joke' actually came true when it was Bobby who killed Lucy.

I think he said his original choice was Cindy and then Jane.

Linda's bulimia story was offensive

Not me guessing correctly before the storyline had even started airing

Ashley. 17-10-2016 08:47 PM

A tad confused

Firewire 17-10-2016 09:16 PM

I'm confused as to why Will got the duff duff

Him to have a canary and smash up the funeral parlour?

I don't think it was supposed to be a bulimia story but more showing how the stress of the rape was affecting her.

Lucky we even got stuff like that. Still peeved that Linda's storyline became more about Shirley and Mick's parentage than it did about what happened to her at the hands of Dean.

Janet to hit the coke so Will smashes her brains in with a music box?

Firewire 17-10-2016 10:29 PM

Well if it means Pam comes back...

Tbh, the fact Jane was brought back to the show for Lucy's death story made it obvious she was going to be involved somehow. I think that's the primary reason I suspected it would be her for so long.

I actually thought it was great. It gave the storyline an edge and a bit of a difference to other soap whodunnits. And child killers hasn't been overdone like most other types of murderers.

The mistake came when the farce of everyone finding out and keeping it a secret lasted for almost a year.

when is Elaine making her inevitable appearance again I want it over with

She always starts off well but stays too long and becomes infuriating

I agree but the long lost son story SUCKED

Ross. 17-10-2016 10:34 PM

The episode when Kat visited the convent is one of my faves in recent years

Her first stint was great as, a bit like Ronnie, she had a clear character arc and story. Then left the show when it came to a natural end.

The returns for both just didn't work.

I do cackle at the fact that Alfie's brain tumour would be the size of a grapefruit by now surely?

It would have the DS forums up in arms at the waste of license fee money. :fan:
