In regards to the HM actually I had some admiration for BB this year as it seemed they made an attempt to find a range of housemates in regards of considering how they would get on with each other not just how they are as individual characters. But yeah personally none of them stand out for me tbh. I agree with a lot of the points you made in this thread, as someone who's mixed race its nice to see someone whos empathetic :hee:

aww thanks

I like Raph and Charlotte most but they're getting zero airtime.

Hope you get a place sorted soon

Thank you hon! I also meant to say you and Dezzy are understanding too which is cool

Yes Raph seems to be popluar, he reminds me of that american model, I cant remember her name. I hope they dont stick in any more housemates like they like to do as I feel we still need to get to know these ones!

They came across aggressive. Both sisters.

You cannot be aggressive, be called out on it then moan that you are only called aggressive because you are black. No love, you were called aggressive as you were aggressive. Simples.

I'm not sure most of the BB audience actually likes Nikki, she was voted out after all. Obviously she has some fans as well, but I think it's the promotion of her by Endemol that has helped her more than anything. They have really built her up. I can't speak for X-Factor as I don't watch it.

I labelled Tom aggressive for this as it was an aggressive act

I didn't see this slipper thing but the bag thing was clearly NOT aggressive. However the way Sukhvinder reacted to it was aggressive.

Imran comes across aggressive most of the time when he's doing Sukhs bidding tbh.

Kayleigh is aggressive in general (when arguing especially. was much worse on EOTB) and also..I did think Kayleigh was black? :S

And both Deborah and Hannah come across aggressive a lot of the time  They shout a hell of a lot and go OTT. Sometimes it seems they are spitting words at people. If anyone else went on like that they would be labelled aggressive. And there would be no problem labeling aggressiveness as aggressive. But for some reason everyone is meant to ignore it the person being aggressive is a black woman? Yes its a stereotype of black women, but if its happening in front of our eyes, its not wrong to call it out. I don't get it tbh.

Also OT but I need to comment on this. Sara was a better singer IMO too, and a better performer. I genuinely think matt only won as they pushed his 'sob story' all the way through. And it wasn't even worthy of sympathy ffs, he got dumped. Big deal. And yes. I did like Matt too.

Bake off winner isn't chosen by the public if it was it would be a different story. typically poc aren't usually voted in though there are exceptions of course
and overall the judges did seem to think she was the better singer as they all said (apart from Nicole) that she should win and simon seemed very pissed when she didn't win. they coy=uld just be saying that to everyone :)

She didn't

Someone asked what 'discrimination' meant, and Rebecca replied that it was like racism. Which is sort of right, but wrong at the same time.

Can't bloody stand Rebecca but theres enough to complain about with her without twisting her words

And the minute Sukhvinder said no it isn't like racism Rebecca pipes up with "Oh here we go" Rebecca comes across like she's waiting for these poc to live up to a stereotype she clearly believes

Exactly!!! I did like matt but his voice was nothing compared to Saras and an incredible performer. its quite funny how saras now doing a concert in finland and matt terry is the supporting act. I think most people voted for matt terry because most of the people who watch x factor are ten year old girls who find him hot:fist:

I kinda took that to be 'oh here we go' about another Sukhvinder rant tbh. But yeah I guess it could be something else

Tbh though, Sukh does mention race a LOT. As does her husband. So I kind of understand people thinking ffs not again when she goes off on one

Strictly .... Danny by far the best dancer ,fav to win ,Louise 2nd best dancer and 2nd fav to win ....Ore ???????? but won ...could that have anything to do with Facebook,Twitter claiming (the same series) that a black person had never made it to the finals ( they had) then low and behold, the rank outsider won ....come on don't tell me the PC brigade have nothing to do with the result

Still bitter that Christian didn;t get through tbh. He was my fave by a bloody mile/ I remember when Sara was put through and I was like..wtf shes rubbish compared to others who were turned down. I believe it was the first live show that she changed my mind :D But I was like that with Diana Vickers too...thought she was a bad pick at judges houses then the first live show she was amazing...

That was really early on though, might have even been the first day so it would have been a bit premature for that I think

I didn't really feel that, she'd be quite happy I expect in a house without people shouting their heads off.

I can well believe that she had mentioned race at least 20 times on the first day

I say this every ****ing year but we need live feed to understand whats actually going on in there. Anyone can be edited into anything really :S The editing doesn't seem as bad as usual this year BUT I have noticed them 'end scene' in the middle of someones sentence, which can totally change the meaning of what they are saying :S

Ugh yes.I wanted to throw something at the TV yesterday when she was whingeing about how there were people/cameras watching and she couldn't have a private conversation with the guy she wants to **** but denies that she does. I mean, what did you expect you moany git? You chose to go on BB. You knew there were cameras. You knew it wouldn't be 'just how we are outside'. Also, she said she didn't want to be there. I really want BB to just boot out people who say that. Imagine them just opening the door and saying 'the exit is to your left, goodbye'...watching them backpedal would be great :D

I know we haven't seen as much of him as some of the others so it's possible that could sway things, but ignoring his VT Raph has been edited exactly like he is in person, so at this point I do think they edit people quite fairly
