.....hmmmmm, so I’m not sure, really...maybe I’m overthinking it...it was a complete twist, I didn’t see it coming at all ...but obviously that means that Meyer is gone now and I really liked his character......the whole ending left me a little...oh...because so much could have been based on truths in that it was possible...and obviously Nazi Hunters have existed as well...but the ending with Hitler and Eva...I don’t know, that just felt a bit silly and didn’t really inspire me for the next series...(...although, obviously I’ll watch it, that goes without saying......I don’t know, I’ve overthought a lot of the ending, I think...but that’s because of the vein of the series in that it did evoke thought, plus I was totally invested...I didn’t like that, the young Nazi got to live, either...he’s obviously going to be in the next series but that takes away any sense of karma and he’s so sadistic and evil...

...I’ve just started to watch Forever as well and it’s pretty likeable so far...

...I might go for a record breaking watch before 2020 is over, fit as many in as I can...all watching at the same time...

Spoiler:

I love a good twist and I never saw that one coming either  But yeah it kind of takes a shine off Season 2, I hadn't even thought about whether there was going to be one tbh because of how it ended I think they should have left it at 1 season

...yeah I don’t really want a season 2 tbh, I can’t imagine any storyline matching this series...and especially with the twist...and Meyer’s grandson killing him was a perfect justice, I think....I would have just liked to have seen the sadist young Nazi killed, rather than be in prison ...that felt a little unsatisfying for me...

The culture secretary has said the creators behind TV series The Crown, based on the lives of the Royal Family, need to make clear the show is fiction.

"I fear a generation of viewers who did not live through these events may mistake fiction for fact," Oliver Dowden told the Mail on Sunday.

He said Netflix's "beautifully produced work of fiction... should be very clear at the beginning it is just that".

Just finished the Season 1 and have read that it's been cancelled and there's not going to be a Season 2, it was really good as well, I didn't know it had been cancelled when I started watching it Ammi, sorry for recommending it, it's left a bit unfinished :/

....hmmmmm, I’m not sure that I’ll be able to stop watching even though it’ll leave me hanging there...

Spoiler:

...I’m thinking that one of his ‘miracles’ might be that he’ll make her have a pregnancy that’ll carry full term and I need to know if that happens...

...I did think that he would save the dog and kept saying that....and then he shot it, what the heck...

...I’m so annoyed because it really was one of the most absorbing storylines of a recent series...even though I knew that it would be left unfinished, I still couldn’t stop watching and the last few episodes especially were so gripping...

I know, it was so disappointing. Apparently it's not even cancelled because it was unpopular but because they had planned on filming in a foreign location or something and because of Covid decided to just cancel it, don't know why they couldn't just postpone it

Cherie 02-02-2021 10:55 AM

Watching the Sopranos which my son recommended ages ago but I couldn't get it into it on first watch, but hooked now

I tried a couple of episodes but couldn't get into it either, I'm sure I would have eventually if I'd stuck with it but I couldn't be arsed plus I've heard the end spoiled numerous times as well

Spoiler:

...one thing that I didn’t quite understand was that I didn’t think the suicide bomber pressed the button but he obviously had...

...I think that (...if there had been another season...)...maybe the CIA lady would be pregnant with Aviram’s child as they obviously slept together...

...I don’t believe that he’s the Messiah but the plane crash and their ‘recovery’ was very eerie...

Ammi 02-02-2021 11:01 AM

...sometimes it can take a little while to fully become hooked on a series and I guess when it’s a hugely popular one, then there’s the thought that it’ll be more an instant thing...

Spoiler:

He didn't press the button, the guy in the car had a remote detonator and he set the bomb off.

Yeah was thinking that too about Eva, there wasn't much need for the pregnancy story unless she'd eventually become pregnant I think

I was not believing he was until the plane crash, no way they would all survive that and the "Messiah" himself didn't even have a cut on him..........that would be some parlor trick

It annoyed me that he didn't save the little girl from Cancer. The only explanation I can think of for not saving her but saving the plane crash people and the little boy who was shot was that the ones he saved he was responsible for dying in a way? Where as the little girl was going to die regardless so maybe "God's plan" or something?

Spoiler:

...the world’s eyes were on him and following him on social media...had he cured the young girl then there is no way that he could have moved or had any type of freedom from either his growing followers or the security agencies...but he’s now ‘officially dead’ or officially missing so that allowed more direction for the storyline to continue...because there was obviously a lot more to develop with the plot had it not ended...but yeah, obviously so sad to see her die...

Ammi 02-02-2021 11:15 AM

...having said that...

Spoiler:

...she could have been the ‘Lazarus’ and he brought her back to life, rather than cured her...
