The tokens and the 2 millions were unnecessary, but whatever. I will give it a watch.
And hopefully it doesn't flop and they evict the filler ones quickly. Leave the game talk to Sandra, Rob, Parvati and Tony already lmao

A final 4 of at least 3 of those would make for an insane season. Unfortunately I don’t see Sandra having a shot this season & Tony (and even the other 2) prob don’t have the best shot either.

My hope is that Tony is so wreckless he’s carried through as a goat... and then wins :joker:

Premiere twist: Every contestant starts with an immunity idol.

Spoiler:

Just speculating.

Why did you need to put that in a spoiler tag? Just say it's your speculation lmao, I don't know if you thought you were doing something there :joker:

Wanted to see if anyone thought it was real and freaked out.

Calderyon 24-12-2019 08:17 PM

Tbh, judging by the show, I would not be surprised if they actually did it.

Calderyon 24-12-2019 08:21 PM

Now that there are "token" coins, I expect to see an advantage vending machine in this season.

If they survive to the merge, I fully expect they will.

I'm so excited for this!

My one wish? For them to have gone back to a non-beach location just for old times sake.

I think the production love the boat shots too much to scrap them tbh. They seem to love the "epicness" of them.

They're just lazy turds who want to cheaply reuse as much as possible in Fiji season after season.

JerseyWins 26-12-2019 03:54 PM

I'm so glad this starts in February because I'm badly looking forward to it

Nicky91 26-12-2019 03:55 PM

tea, at our dutch survivor also re-using some of challenges every single final for last couple years :idc:

i mean a final is supposed to be exciting, for us it was same old ''make a puzzle with code, gather bags of bullets in the sea, and shoot 2 targets to win'' how dull when a final is supposed to be exciting, put you on edge of your seat :idc:

Same here in France. They keep filming in Fiji and I'm over it. From the French host, apparently TF1 (biggest French channel) and CBS are sharing locations such as beaches and tribal council locations.
But like, there are so many other places to film apart from Oceania.

I hate it! For almost 20 years in France, the final 4 are going on a hunt to find a dagger in the jungle.. And the final 3 must stand on a wooden pole!
20 freaking years!

More so like this. Record is 5 hours. But still, every year!

Macie Lightfoot 26-12-2019 08:13 PM

I mean I am *dying* to go back to an actual endurance Challenge for the finale. Not this stupid balance a ball while standing on a beam and gradually make it more and more narrow so the Challenge doesn’t last more than 25 minutes stuff. Give me Hands on the Idol for five hours. Give me the Palau one that went for ten hours. A true test of how bad do you want it.

Macie Lightfoot 27-12-2019 02:48 AM

The more I think about it the less and less excited I am. Not only do I think a lot of the winners are boring and not really good television, but then you throw in Edge of Extinction, Fire Tokens, a gazillian Idols and Advantages, 60 minute episodes, and a 20 person cast meaning that we'll need like four ****ing double boots and the edit is going to become a complete dumpster fire. It's going to be another Cambodia/Game Changers all over again where you can't even follow a plotline.

There's gonna be a retrospective Survivor ep looking back on the biggest moments from the past 39 seasons, a week before the S40 premiere

How are they going to fit all of those Susie Smith moments into just one hour?
