Do you not know what uninformed means? Because voting for something that you don't know anything about is pretty uninformed. |

3 MEP's for the SNP (projected) 28 New MEP's for the Brexit Party Across England and Wales. Pathetic Change UK never got any seats. |
The anti brexit vote was larger than the brexit vote, so I don't see how the brexit party dominated .... i thought the BBC coverage was ridiculous

They Got the Most MEP's 28 Then Lib Dems 15 Labour 10 Green 7 Conservatives 3 SNP 3 Plaid Cymru 1 Change UK 0 UKIP 0 |

Lib Dem and Greens will have got some of their votes from people who always vote Lib Dem or Green, and the EU exit might not be their reason for voting, they might not have even voted in the referendum, or it's possible they even voted to leave. What we do know is the Brexit vote actually won. As it did in the 2016 referendum. Of course the establishment remoaners which includes the mainstream media, is gonna spin it the way you have, it's in their interests to do so. |

we all already knew that the tory's were going to get stuffed last night, but labour got battered, particularly in Scotland. If there were a GE now like Corbyn is demanding, labour and the tories would get smashed with the Brexit party, lib dems and the greens fighting it out between them.
The tories have the opportunity to do something with the election of their new leader, what are labour going to do? The labour reps last night seemed in complete disarray |

All we have is that small split still in the UK, this time marginally the other way, on a really much smaller turnout too. An increase on the local elections. This could have been interesting had this been a contest between say the Brexit party and say Lib Dems or other designated remain party. None of the actual Labour votes given here would have gone to the Brexit party. For me, its a disintegration of UKIP votes transferring to the Brexit party. With a small number of disenchanted Conservative and Labour votes added. The bulk of Conservative and Labour votes crossing to the stronger for remain parties, Lib Dem and Green. |

Yes the Labour Party. But for a 6 weeks start up they now the UK Biggest Party in the EU Change UK with proper British MP's got No MEP's they failed 100% |

I wasn't sure remain would win a 2nd referendum or even wanted one myself. However I agree with you, on all you've said above. This less than 40% turnout still failed to give the pro brexit parties, one under the louder mouth of Farage, over 50% of the votes cast. The splintered remain supporting votes matter since those votes will never go to pro brexit parties. I think you are right a new referendum would likely result in a remain vote. Certainly however a solid vote against any no deal Brexit. It would be a massive slap in the face to the bulk of the UK, those who vote and can't yet vote, if that is now ignored by any new leader of the Conservatives. For my current party, Labour, they must now come out for a new referendum. If it doesn't, I will need to think where I am as to politics now. |
