Perched for us all to have another question in this round where we all have different answers.
Round Three: Cartoons & Famous Animals Question One: Name a "cartoon duo" that have their own TV show. Some cheeky beggars tried to go a little bit meta and use the most famous example of a "TV show within a TV show" from the Simpsons here, and uh, it didn't pay off  Spoiler: Question Two: Name a cartoon dog (that actually has a name) I really thought I'd be safe with this one but it ended up being the most popular answer :worry: also this "name the obvious answer" isn't working, Smithy!!!! Spoiler: Question Three: Name a dog from a TV show that isn't a cartoon Not many points here since it was basically an opportunity for everyone to use an obscure dog from their favourite TV shows. Some went for some pretty huge British canines though... Spoiler: Question Four: Name a famous horse from a TV show or film Since Black Beautygate caused a rumpus in the Top Answers edition of the game, it was only inevitable it would end up a stumbling block here, too... Spoiler: Question Five: Name a character from Sesame Street (excluding Kermit the Frog or Miss Piggy (even though they're Muppets and if you think of "obvious Sesame Street characters" you go for Elmo and Big Bird)) See y'all just went for the puppet characters here. Foolish! There were about 400 human characters too. Spoiler: Question Six: Name a character from "SpongeBob Squarepants" excluding SpongeBob and Patrick I completely missed the Spongebob train by about 3 or 4 years growing up as a kid, and as a result the never-ending stream of memes from that show are a little bit confusing to me, but this question gave us some inspired answers and one from Cherie that I think is the best of the entire game. Spoiler: Question Seven: Name a Pokemon that isn't Pikachu I think someone already pointed out that there are 800+ potential answers here, so it shouldn't come as any surprise that... Spoiler: Question Eight: Name one of the Scooby Doo gang humans Only Fred, Velma, Daphne and Shaggy were eligible answers so this was always going to be a place to pick up points. But which was the most popular answer? I'm not happy. Spoiler: Question Nine: Name a famous cartoon cat. There must be a million possible answers here. So why the hell would you risk it and go for the huge ones like Tom, Top Cat or the Pink Panther :oh: Spoiler: Question Ten: Name one of the four Teletubbies Like the Scooby Doo question, this was a minefield. Spoiler: Question Eleven: Name one of the Rugrats I never actually specified that it had to be one of the toddler/babies but I think I still answered with one of those anyway, so I'll allow the adult character answers. Spoiler: Question Twelve: Name a famous bear This one was a pain in the ass to fact-check because it seemed you could just throw out a random name and say it was a famous bear  Spoiler: Question Thirteen: Name a character from Ice Age I don't think I specified which movie it had to be from, and in hindsight I could've been a meanie and disallowed any characters from Ice Age 2, 3D, etc... but I absolutely detest this franchise and didn't want to investigate much of it. Spoiler: Question Fourteen: Name one of the titular Incredibles There was at least one more potential answer than the Teletubbies/Scooby Doo question but I think this was somehow more devastating to points tallies... Spoiler: Question Fifteen: Name an animated Disney film about a princess The wording of this question was difficult because whilst there are an awful lot of Disney Princesses, how many of the films are actually about them? Aladdin isn't about Jasmine, Belle isn't a princess, etc. But I decided to just allow everything since I cba discussing the monarchic structure of Mulan's China or whether the Native Americans even had princesses. I'm open to disallowing some if y'all strongly object, though. Spoiler: Therefore, the scores for Round 3 are... Adam. - 13 Twosugars - 13 Mitchell - 14 Blurryface - 16 Cherie - 16 Amy Jade - 17 Matthew. - 17 RileyH - 17 Barry. - 22 Liam- - 23 Smithy - 23 thisisdanny - 23 montblanc - 24 Shaun - 24 Calderyon - 26 JerseyWins - 27 Tony Montana - 27 Owen19 - 28 Ammi - 39 Kate! - no answers - 39 Spoiler: |
King of Scoring the least I guess?
