What they should have done to avoid this:

After successfully occupying, they should have trained the women and armed them all to the eyeballs.

They aremd and trained men, who rolled over like scared puppies as soon as the Taliban rolled back in, because they have far less on the line that they're willing to fight to keep.

Yes he knows
some will get stuck there.

The Military Airport has also closed - Temporarily.

It is no longer safe to land or take off
until all public are held back from runways

It will take USA Troops
to secure that.

He was overseas director for QinetiQ, an arms company that made billions out of the western occupations in the middle east. Charlatan crocodile tears.

arista 16-08-2021 12:29 PM

3 other deaths
from yesterday as well of the other 5
at the Airport.

That doesn't mean he can't be upset at how all this has played out?

It's not about specific wars because we've been bombing them constantly and throughout, but he joined QinetiQ in 2003.

1.20 "Because I'm a soldi UMM... because it's sad that the west has done what it's done".

Showed his hand. He's feeling a lot of personal guilt but it's for the British soldiers who have fought there, not for the people of Afghanistan.

Or alternatively he's saying that it's his perspective as a soldier that deepens his sadness for Afghan citizens, soldiers don't only care about their own kind

It's not beyond comprehension that Western citizens can be active in Middle East affairs without a malign motive and with a genuine interest in positive change in the region

Even if you'd buy that chocolate teapot had he said it outright - he stopped himself mid-sentence and said something different which would suggest that, for whatever reason, he thought better of giving that as his reason. He also said it without a pause so it was most likely his genuine reaction.

Exactly. I'll be calling out Blair in exactly the same way when he rocks up and starts crying for the cameras. Shameful and shameless at the same time.
