Exactly
He'll never step down though, he'll never take responsibility either. Bojo has as much morals as a pile of garbage.

He's laughing in our faces , he's a disgrace.

i think Boris will step down before the next election anyway, so he really has nothing to lose in the mean time by just shrugging it all off

Disgrace is the word.

The major difference to him on this is HE was making the laws and rules.
He put in the penalties for ordinary people breaking the rules.

Yet as you say he's laughing in peoples faces.

Yet you hear few hardline Cons calling for him to go.
Indirect brushing things aside, even still, as to him.

To me and I admit I've NEVER ever liked the man.
At any point of his political career.
I NEVER saw him as a trustworthy person politically.
It is a disgrace, he's been put in place and been allowed to disgrace even further politics, elected office and even the high office of being Prime Minister.

If politicians worked as hard for their electorate as they do criticising the other team, imagine how much would get done.

I cringe when I see Angela Rayner on TV... Had aTory politician referred to Labour MPs as "scum" just weeks prior to the Jo Cox murder, there would have been outrage. But Angela didn't even apologise.

Clearly supported and defended no matter the wrong he does or allows to be done.
This gathering is the fullest insult to many of those who've lost loved ones to this nightmare virus.

All hard-line Cons can do is get at Labour.

If this had been a Labour PM dodging questioning like this PM is.
Those hard-line Cons would be absolutely and rightly hammering that Labour or in fact any other party's PM.

I cringe every single time this Con PM again sets out to demonstrate the ONLY things he's really adept at.
That is to politically mislead, deceive and blatantly lie.
Shocking.

A major Conservative donor has issued an ultimatum to Boris Johnson over revelations about lockdown parties in Downing Street.

John Caudwell said: "Sort it out, Boris, or step aside and let someone else sort it out so that the Tories aren't wiped out at the next election."

The Phones4U founder donated £500,000 to the Conservatives ahead of the 2019 general election.

He criticised the government's perceived "arrogance and hypocrisy".

Mr Caudwell was one of the Conservative Party's biggest individual donors at the last general election, and has previously given money to pro-Brexit Tory MP Sir Bill Cash.

He told BBC News: "Although I have always obeyed the rules I have never been puritanical about lockdown restrictions so I find it difficult to personally get excited about an outdoor drinks party. But it's the perceived arrogance, hypocrisy and rule breaking that is impossible to justify.

"While the rest of us were striving to follow the ever-changing rules - including myself, even when I deemed them to be excessive at best, nonsensical at worst - those who were setting those rules were, apparently freely and frequently, disregarding them.

"Each one of these new revelations gives greater force to the accusation that areas of the government think it's 'one rule for them, one rule for the rest of us'.

"This is disastrous."

I’d say their handling of this pandemic ensures they will be wiped out in the next election

It should, but it won’t, in fact not only will they not be wiped out, they will win again.

That’s the current state of UK politics and it’s not changing any time soon.

There are so many stories like this tbh. It must really stick in the throats of people who followed the rules and as a result missed out on those precious final moments ... Only to find out the privileged classes were swanking around, doing as they pleased ...

Has shades of Masque of the Red Death, but without the happy ending :joker:

The whole Barnard Castle thing, I never really cared that much about - a bloke drove from one house to another, and drove to a landmark. Most reactions to that (I think) were largely point-scoring tbh, but the parties really take the piss.

The UK is the closest of any country in the northern hemisphere to exiting the Covid-19 pandemic, an expert has said.

Professor David Heymann, from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), suggested in a Chatham House online briefing that the UK was seeing the disease become endemic.

He said: “In general, now, the countries that we know best in the northern hemisphere have varying stages of the pandemic.

“And probably, in the UK, it’s the closest to any country of being out of the pandemic if it isn’t already out of the pandemic and having the disease as endemic as the other four coronaviruses.”

Well that may make things look all rosy in your eyes for him.
However to those who've lost a loved one or in fact loved ones due to this government's policy and procrastination for a good period of the pandemic.

To them things going seemingly better now, although there's still an average of around 700 people losing their lives each week yet.
However to them, they shouldn't and I hope they don't forget or forgive this creep of a PM nor his hopeless health secretarys and overall Cabinet too.
For the unnecessary losses of their loved ones.

He may succeed in fooling some, he'll never fool those still grieving from the devastation of losing their loved ones before their time.
