if they have a lot of victims, it could add up to quite a sentence if he is found guilty

Absolutely. I think the mountains of evidence that's in his own words and on video makes this as close to a slam dunk as it would be possible to have in a case like this.

It's basically the same case as Epstein, and not even he could wriggle out of that with his money and influence (his black book). The only concern with tate is him making a run for it. He's not going to be a top g but an old g by the time he gets out, if he ever does.

Pretty disgusting if they try that angle.

It’s a fact of life so I wouldn’t say it’s disgusting

I hope you are right.

How do you know he's pretending? If he wanted to follow any religion, that one sounds ideal tbh.

A presumption on my part - but when people find a religion as adults, then they generally go in to it because of some spiritual awakening (or some other similar sounding bollocks), not because of a hatred of women.

Social media has started to turn on him and the only larger accounts still defending him come across as... A bit unhinged. And basically not understanding the law at all. They're like "Yeah so he admits to making women fall in love with him, then getting them to do cams, and keeping most of the profit by lying to them about how much money comes in BUT IS ANY OF THAT A CRIME??"

... When they're literally describing, at best, large scale fraud and theft by deception and at worst coercive sex trafficking :umm2:. Yes it's all very illegal chaps.

His only hope of going free is if its all cos play, and he's never actually done any of the things he talks about, and all of his money comes from the pyramid schemes and "hustlers University" crap... And to prove that he'd have to come clean about none of it being true.

... Which is essentially admitting to huge scale fraud to the value of millions of dollars on the people who signed up to those "courses".

He's guilty of fraud no matter which way you slice it.

Sadly I think the "pimping" - though possibly exaggerated in scale - has definitely happened to some extent, so I hope he gets real time for that.

Are you saying his courses are any different to the Archwell type bollox?

All of these "self help" programmes are overpriced bollox but most of them don't encourage coersion and effectively rape through manipulation (although of course, he's far from the first "pick up school" to teach such hideous tactics).

Also in terms of to the degree that it's fraud, the Tate schools also grifted their "students" into crypto/NFT ponzi schemes. Its basically just a big pyramid scheme.

Several luxury cars have been seized from British-American influencer Andrew Tate's property in Bucharest.

Mr Tate was detained alongside his brother Tristan last month as part of an investigation into allegations of human trafficking and rape, which they deny.

Cars, including a Rolls-Royce, BMW and Mercedes-Benz were removed from the property on Saturday, Reuters reported.

Mr Tate's lawyer was not immediately available for comment.

Andrew Tate

2 Women that lived in his home

That clip was on BBC.

This means absolutely nothing. The Johnny Depp defense - "Well I didn't abuse THIS woman, so obviously I didn't abuse any women!"

Also he grooms women into working for him as part of his trafficking - that's the point. They're not kept in cages or behind locked doors... he "makes them fall in love with him" so that they agree to work for him. That's the whole point. Plus he was "clever" and paid them - he kept the lion's share of their money, but he still gave them more money than they'd ever earned before, so they don't necessarily FEEL exploited even though they are 100% being exploited.

They're a flight risk not just because of money - they have a huge and cult-like following who will happily endanger themselves legally to "hide them", pretty much anywhere in the world they can get to.

I think we're all forgetting that sex work is work, and his legitimate (and willing) employees are no different to any other workers who see the bosses pocket most of what they produce.

Some might argue he's a strong femmnist advocate, and he is providing women with empowering work.

Urgh.

People can and do debate until the cows come home about being a TERF but in my opinion everyone who cares about... umm... anyone really, even vaguely about humanity, should absolutely be a SWERF.
