How America deems it necessary to ban TikTok before GUNS. The political landscape of the country is behind clapped.

Zizu 26-04-2024 01:37 PM

This craze is sweeping Florida ..

ISR

Infant Swimming Resource

They do this 10 minutes a day , 5 days a week for as long as it takes ( up to 10 weeks ) for the baby/toddler to not cry when dunked under water and float on the surface.

It was created by a devastated mother who’s child drowned in a pool .

This is their advertising blurb …

“ Parents, there are countless stories, each and every day of one more child that has not drowned, ONLY because of ISR. It's the ONLY way to teach your child the lifesaving skills he or she will need in the event they accidentally fall in the water.”

There are no official stats to justify their claims .

Unfortunately it's rare to see America actually make sense Politically.

It's a shame because they have a lot of nice people over there (even if they're a bit nuts sometimes lol) and they have a lot of great Cities, but their Politics are just a grade above Australia's.

Australia doesn’t have incidents involving guns every week for one thing, so I’d rank America below Ozzie-land. It’s very bad.

No, but during the Pandemic, the Aussies were having people that tested positive for Covid taken out of their home and put in facilities.

Plus didn't they break one of their laws a couple of years ago to do with Aussie immigrants can't have position of political power in their country? And then they had to quickly resolve the issue (when it should've been resolved years ago) but it wasn't.

And I'm sure that I did hear recently that the Aussie Government were trying to create laws to spy on regular citizens computers.

Don't get me wrong, I agree that America has problems (I moan about their issues all of the time lol) but Australia kind of sneak on by without most people even noticing their oddities imo.

Mhm. Love so much about the States (at one point I wanted to live there, and spent about 3 years downing with their funk as much as I could) but like I say I just feel like the political landscape there is unmatched in terms of bat-shi. craziness. But Australia definitely has its oddities. I’ll concur to that.

I mean tbf, I can also agree with you that American Politics is very loopy as well.

And obviously the UK itself has some questionable Politics at the moment imo.

To be honest, politicians worldwide are hard to trust. But yeah. UK politics has been a continuous disaster for at least 14 years now. Credit crunch wasn’t great but the political landscape per-se seemed to get a lot worse with David Cameron. The noughties/2000s were a bit better.

I 100% agree with you on all of your points in this post tbh.

David Cameron in particular is still the main reason why we're in such a bad way currently, I'm amazed at how the masses don't seem to see it with him.

Hmm. Are you sure they don’t? In my neck of the woods he’s not a popular or well-regarded politician.

Well he seems to be more liked than the other Tory leaders that have followed him, and I personally think that he was worse than all of them.

Plus Tamworth is a Tory area, so my opinion is firmly in the minority.

Wonder why we don’t tag some fish in our UK waters / lakes / lodges as they do in Aisu !?

Hundreds of tagged fish are released each year and all have a monetary value marked on the tag . In an effort to get the Australian people fishing more !!

So I was driving along and saw one of those digital speed warming contraptions.

It said .. Your speed 31 mph

I checked the car speedo which said 35/36 mph

I was thinking today as i was out feeding the birds why the birds still fly away from humans. My 2 big wood pigeons waddle away and wait like 10 foot from me but other birds fly off when I'm in the garden and I guess its still too far in the evolutionary journey for birds not to think we will catch them and eat them. I guess that has fully stopped in the last 100 years but before then all birds would have been a target. I wonder how long until they relax and don't worry?

After Tim Allen voiced Buzz Lightyear for 4 movies why change to Chris Evans for the Lightyear spinoff movie ?

Interestingly some types/breeds of birds seem
far more ‘brave’ than others .. rather like tropical fish where ‘dither’ or shoaling fish are nervous/ skittish when you approach wheras
Cichlids are really inquisitive and will approach the glass …

We get most breeds of birds in our garden as we are surrounded by countryside land ..
oddly enough there are some times where the garden is dead - not a single bird in sight until I spot our trusty Dunnock who must live in tje damn garden !!

When you hear popular songs from a fair distance that are going on at an event....It sounds like a karaoke singer singing it.

It's my personal belief that Cats can dream.

But I am interested to know if anyone on here has a definitive answer.
