Have we had any reports on who the bottom two is?

Stiff Sam needs to pull through.:fc:

Nicky91 13-10-2024 07:14 AM

my thoughts and scores

Shayne & Nancy: great opener, fun bowling theme, would've liked more fluidity, more hip actions but good performance 7

Sarah & Vito: harshly undermarked, i recognized a lot of foxtrot in it and it was silky smooth throughout, the footwork yes not perfect but still great i thought 8

Nick & Luba: can understand no swivels bc of his injury and Luba cleverly choreographed it into more of a slapstick version, also not enough creativity umm this was a scene from paddington 2, you can't do anything original, but despite his injuries, GREAT performance 8

Jamie & Michelle: overmarked (judges pet much?) no hip action whatsoever, no chemistry either between these two, and those lifts looked rather lame and predictable 1

Wynne & Katya: too much faffing about at the start as Len would've said, but once the dancing got going it looked good but would've liked more of that, shame 7

Punam & Gorka: dance disaster, flatfooted throughout and not enough variation between the kicks and flicks, not your night, i agree craig 1

Paul & Karen: Magic Man has his revenge after last weeks dance off!!!! how charming he looked in those tails, top hat and cane too, good quickstep content too but yes he can smile some more 8

JB & Amy: sadly not keeping the momentum going from last week, indeed very stilted where in rumba you need to keep that flow going throughout the routine, not much passion or emotion either i'm afraid 2

Chris & Dianne: FAB-U-LOUS, easily his best dance to date 10

TeamMoJo: the gladiator becomes a ballroom princess, never thought we'd be saying that, wow potential to be a contender 9

Sam & Nikita: not Nikita starting off thinking it is a paso doble instead of samba LOL, also Sam is deffo not worse than Punam, but was this good, No 4

Pete & Jowita: Pete Travolta, well i guess it had its effect because this was his best dance to date, not as good quickstep as Paul's but i am a sucker for the traditionals, otherwise it was hella enjoyable, bro 8

Tasha & Aljaz: those on tiktok got sick me thinks LMAO :laugh3: other than that, no comment about the routine 11

Sam's dancing transcends what we mere mortals fathom as good dancing.

Her elegance across the dancefloor is hard to describe.

And ultimately... Her hips don't lie.

Technique is irrelevant when Sam's onscreen.

We just watch.:flutter:

am not angry about judges overmarking Wynne, helps keep him safe so

and he needs to be icons week, he needs to (otherwise a huge injustice if we potentially get robbed of him as Adele, would be even more iconic than mrs doubtfire)

Tasha needs to play Britney i hope

Really Nick was absolutely dire.
Look, if he's injured and cannot perform to the fullest needed then he shouldn't be in.

He was weaker before he was injured.
He was the poorest by a mile last night.

he truly wasn't

Punam was the poorest of the night by a long mile, followed by Jamie (but we all know Jamie has a weakspot with production as the xmas special champion, the vile cheat he is + and michelle this will be her only year i think, too dull and forgettable personality lol, michelle will get hanna haarala'd)

I like Sam too Mock.

It was a good routine and in my view warranted better scoring from the judges HOWEVER the judges, well 3 of them, particularly Shirley seem to have a dislike of Nikita.
That's been so over all the series he's been part of the show unfortunately.

I think you and I were watching something different.

I thought Jamie was really good actually.
As for Dr Punam I think she did pretty good overall.
However I have to say the routine looked and in my view was messy.
Gorka at times in my view devises routines which have him going off doing his own thing in the dance, rather than linking with the partner.
However I enjoyed it still.

Nick I have to say again was dire, absolutely dire.
It's sad he sustained an injury but I found the whole routine frankly tedious to watch.

Shirley also does have a bias against the female contestants.

Although I will be fair and say that she's more casual with it this series compared to other years, but it does creep in sometimes with Sam, and I honestly can't think as to why.

I agree with you that Nick was very poor last night.

I thought Jamie was brilliant. It wasn't perfect, but he captured the party vibe perfectly.
He had me up and dancing

Jamie's best dance. Some of the fans of other couples are starting to feel threatened by him.

I agree, it was Jamie's best dance so far.

i preferred Chris's salsa

especially the Kangaroo moves in the beginning were so much fun

Pete is for example someone who i didn't expect much from pre-week 1

but he has a similar smoothness, relaxedness about him like John Schneider also had on DWTS (more surprising from Pete who doesn't have a performing background whereas John also had his country music background working in his favor) and chemistry wise also kinda similar

Jowita has a similar charm to her as Emma Slater has (i think she would similarly also be a good one for older males)

how on earth were Shayne and Nancy in that dance off????

:conf:

Judges thankfully saved them

also good on Nick for still dancing a personal best in that dance off, but if ur PB isn't enough than its just bad luck, sad cuz he could've beaten Punam :(

Nicky91 14-10-2024 07:28 AM

imagine people voting for The Nose who can't dance :joker:

Shayne appears to be disliked by the public.

I saw the Strictly audience go silent when his name was called out at the start of the Show on Saturday, while the crowd was cheering for everyone else.

I personally don't like Shayne that much myself, but even I'm surprised at the hostility towards him.

Really?? ,I thought he'd be popular...so that's surprising :conf: . He was giving disco energy on Saturday, routine looked fun.

Vanessa 14-10-2024 05:15 PM

Please let Jamie and Michelle do the Charleston. I've been waiting since week one!
