My English Language got remarked and bumped up to an A.

So happy. Before I had 5 A's and 4 B's. 6 A's and 3 B's is not as good as I wanted but it sounds so much better than before. :amazed: :D:D :amazed:

*bump*
How did eveyone do in the Physics P1P2P3 & P4P5P6 exam?

Doogle 03-02-2012 05:38 PM

I have my core Biology, Physics & Chemistry GCSEs in June. :(

And I just my first English control assessment, and I have a work experience booklet to fill in for coursework and then do a control assessment on it which makes 30% of my total GCSE for Business. I'm so scared.

Saph 03-02-2012 05:44 PM

Physics was my re-do makeup and re-style hair lesson.

OMG i feel so lucky
GCSEs in my school are spread throughout yr.10 and yr.11
I've done 80% of them
I've only got these exams in Summer
-Humanities
-French
-Physics (one paper only, done the other two)

and thats ****ing all my secondary school GCSEs done and dusted!!!

Saph 03-02-2012 09:12 PM

I had to do GCSE's from year 9-11 :( we were a 'guinea-pig' year group

Me. I Am Salman 03-02-2012 09:55 PM

Loool. I forgot to add yr. 9 as well. I did my Biology GCSEs in yr.9
its a much better system, we can do lots of retakes for different exams
before they used to just do it in may - june in year 11, and the result you'd get would be the final

Brother Leon 03-02-2012 10:03 PM

They have changed the system so much and I only finished them less than 3 years ago ffs :joker:

Me. I Am Salman 08-02-2012 07:31 PM

So who's doing their final GCSEs like me this year?

Kizzy 08-02-2012 07:37 PM

did you take the higher or foundation paper? if it was higher you will only need 40%, did your tutor give you any practice papers? really shocked they would say that as teachers have to follow a curriculum and have no idea what questions will or will not come up. Chin up and good luck :)

Lool Kizzy, the OP did that GCSE in 2009.. i think saying 'chin up and good luck' to them is well and truly pointless now
But kudos for being nice

Kizzy 08-02-2012 08:08 PM

Me. I Am Salman 08-03-2012 03:50 PM

Got A for P1 P2 P3 and B for P4 P5 P6

thats boring

Jords 08-03-2012 04:27 PM

Well done guys!

Doogle 08-03-2012 05:19 PM

My best friend got A*'s in C1 and P1 and an A in B1 science, I'm so happy for him. The grade boundary was really high for Biology.

I'm not in triple science but I did my first real GCSE today-my control assessment science coursework thing with the experiment worth 25% of my core grade. Went really well luckily.
