Clear that Tara's departure effects it.

BB IS ALIVE 04-09-2011 10:13 AM

oh god, does'nt give much hope of a final over 3m..... :bawling:

Callum 04-09-2011 11:01 AM

Wow, very bad.

Patrick 04-09-2011 11:05 AM

It's obviously because of the silly time Channel 5 put it in.

Why they let some silly new little game show [Red or Black] take over the schedule and make them chance their time is ridiculous, they should know that Big Brother is the MAIN game show, it's the one and only - and now it's their own fault that the ratings were a fail last night.

I knew it would happen.

Jake. 04-09-2011 11:06 AM

Will pick back up tonight

Patrick 04-09-2011 11:07 AM

^ What he said.

It's crazy aswell, how only 1.5 Million lucky people witnessed Amy and Lucien, Jedward's triple bed, the housemates being vajazzaled or of course Bobby's Diary Room Pose.

A fantastic HL show - went to waste.

Maia 04-09-2011 11:14 AM

I feel like crying.

Be prepared to be very very dissapoined.

Last nights hughlights drew 1.5m (7.6%) last night, series low

I'm hardly shocked, it was up against The Jonathon Ross Show, The Xtra Factor AND it was a saturday. Tonights might not be so good either because C4 always show a film at 9pm Sunday. I don't believe it's anything to do with the editing or - dare I mention it - LIVE FEED! I think Monday-Friday's shows are where they will get the most viewers.

'Conor 04-09-2011 12:02 PM

tis cause Tara left people switched off like moi ;)

happybbfan 04-09-2011 12:29 PM

No more excuses please whatever the time the highlights show is on if people want to watch it they will.Lets face facts this CBB has not been the must see one that even last year was on C4.
live feed may be a factor but if the casual viewer isnt even bothered and thats who c5 care about atm,its looking very grim for BB12

I'd say the majority of the viewers this year ARE casual viewers, who will watch the show when it's on but if something they want to watch more is on another channel (Jonathan Ross/Xtra Factor) they will watch that instead. It's no secret that this years CBB is no where near as good ratings wise as the prvious ones there's been, and that BB12 won't be getting the ratings that CBB has been getting. I doubt tonights show will get amazing ratings either, but I believe that, as usual, it will stay at around 2m next week (hopefully a bit more for the final, not sure about launch though because that hasn't really been getting any promotion). Let's just hope that the weekdays for BB12 can remain at around 2m! ;)

JohnnyBB 04-09-2011 02:05 PM

for some funny reason i can see weekend shows being axed for the public series :bawling:

Jordan. 04-09-2011 02:10 PM

Roy Mars III 04-09-2011 02:14 PM

I agree, it was dire

Also worth mentioning Million Pound Drop won round 2 of the C4 vs. C5 battle with 1.85million viewers (8.6%) and a further 176,000 on +1

Maia 04-09-2011 03:17 PM

*cries*

DigitalSid 04-09-2011 04:05 PM

1.61m corrected

BB IS ALIVE 04-09-2011 05:06 PM

Red or black will lose viewers hopefully, when people realise it's trash presented by two anoying tw*ts. :bored:

that means the first week averaged nearly 3.4m.... Not bad I say

Jordan. 05-09-2011 01:46 PM

Great rating for last night :amazed: Maybe the 9pm slot does do it some good.

daniel-lewis-1985 05-09-2011 02:01 PM

Atleast with officials it rapes BB10's ratings

BigBrotherfan4ever 05-09-2011 02:30 PM

Great ratings it seems

*mazedsalv** 06-09-2011 09:52 AM

2.3m for last night. Highest Monday rating just edging the first Monday. The share was 12.2%, which is higher than usual than what the shares have gotten in the 10pm slot.

BB IS ALIVE 06-09-2011 10:17 AM

good news, I hope this week follows a similar patern to week1 :spin:

armand.kay 06-09-2011 06:28 PM

Cam someone explane the difreence between Overnights and Officials??

Jake. 06-09-2011 06:30 PM

Overnight are the ones that were watched on the night. Officials take recordings and on demand into account along with repeats

armand.kay 06-09-2011 06:36 PM

I watch bb on tv catch up does it count that ?

daniel-lewis-1985 07-09-2011 11:09 AM

I didnt watch last night so im partly to blame for that fail of a rating.

SimBrotherNetwork 07-09-2011 11:14 AM

I didn't watch last night as well :/ But good news is CBB beat BBC2 and ITV1 and C4 in the ratings last night! And it peaked at 2M
