Anyway I'm watching the second ep as it airs now, the only companion I actually like so far is Yaz #BringBackGrace

The titles are nice.

I'm still not sure about the more serious/adult tone.

Them not getting shot is not believable, far too close and running too slowly to have not been hit.

I thought this, I also thought why does the female alien have an Irish accent.

Then I remembered I'm watching a show about a time-travelling alien with two-hearts and told myself to shut up :laugh:

The second episode was considerably better, and her scattered attitude seems to have faded. She tended to be a little cringey in delivery at times but considering she's new to the role and has never really watched Doctor Who, it is to be expected that she's still settling in.

Tbh, it's not Doctor Who without a bit of cringe.

The actress playing Rosa Parks has the look, but she sounds Scouse. :/

I think the only problem is they look like they're in a cave in the Tardis.

I like when it's bright with loads of lights.

Also, I howl at people criticising the fact that none of them got shot. You HAVE seen this show before right? There’s a scene like that in most episodes :laugh: The Daleks develop the worst aim in the universe where they’re aiming at The Doctor.

My criticism was basically at the way the scene was directed/shot.

Of course they weren't going to be killed, but have the scene unfold that makes you believe they just narrowly avoided it rather than the expert snipers simply missing them just because. :fist:

Nice twist with Miss Tardis being the Ghost Monument. Did anyone guess that?

Also nnnn at Art Malik getting two scenes.

They sort of explained it though through the whole zig zag running they were doing - The Doctor said running in a straight line would let the robots learn their path.
