to get proper cruise control and all the other fancy gadgets, you really have to go automatic. My automatic has paddles so you can change up and down gears like a manual if you want

Na

You soon get used to an automatic

We got one for the first time about 5 weeks ago … I have only tried to change gear about 3 times since then

It'll take about 10 minutes, they're so much easier to drive. I'd hate to go back to a manual now

Yh I was talking to a friend in work earlier and she said she’d never go back to a manual after she bought her new car a couple months ago.

You just pick up certain habits when you drive a manual car (well I did anyways )

Had a day off for thw bank holiday so went golfing again. 1st hole is a par 5. Very windy conditions.

I hit a great drive, 5ft from the out of bounds post just before the 2nd horse jump(you can see exactly where on tv when Kelso races are in ITV) 2 racecourse workers were checking the jump about 20 years In front of me which made me wary for my 2nd shot, but not as much as the out of bounds post directly in my line 5ft away(the actual racecourse part of the racecourse is out of bounds) so I yanked the 3 ft post out the ground and pulled out my 3 wood. Hit a perfect shot, held straight in the wind and landed on the green running out to 10 inches from the hole. Simple tap in for am eagle 3.

Seemingly though, it dont count, cause I removed the post, which is classed as an unmovable object.

I'm taking it though, still cant be arsed to look up my golfing thread so here will do again..

1st ever par 5 eagle, and best shot ever, with witnesses.

Today I thought about slitting my throat because I loathe myself :bawling:

Today is another day.

Do you have a support network around you?

Ammi 24-10-2024 09:12 AM

…CeeCee……you’re so loved and I wish that’s the thing you felt about yourself also……

Livia 24-10-2024 02:13 PM

Got back from a really busy work trip last night. Done nothing today but laze around. Steeling myself for half term next week.

Not sure if you’re joking (I hope you are).

If you’re not, I’m sorry to hear that. Thomas is right about a support network. If you really do feel that down it’s worth exploring that option (plenty of confidential support lines you can reach out to).

Jessica. 24-10-2024 04:27 PM

Up at 07:30

Breakfast
We drove about 45 minutes to collect something from my SIL
Stopped for lunch on the way back

Don’t be sorry, you’re allowed to feel down. Just try not to let it absorb you too much. Easier said than done I know, but glad you reached out to your network

Niamh. 26-10-2024 07:44 AM

In bed still, I'm going to get up soon my brother and his wife and 2 kids are visiting today and staying the night (they live in Galway which is a 3 and half hour drive from here) so need to give the place a hoover and a spruce

Jessica. 26-10-2024 07:59 AM

Just had my coffee, hoping to go to the farmers market and get a large pumpkin.

Benjamin 26-10-2024 05:39 PM

I'm off to a 30th birthday shortly but currently having a glass of wine in a nice bar just by Buckingham Palace. Met an old mate for a couple of pints just before which was lovely

All feels a bit hair of the dog though after drinking too much last night but there was good reason to celebrate with Marcello staying 🫨

Saved a dog from getting run over today

Jessica. 26-10-2024 06:08 PM

Busy day of household duties, did the weekly big food shop in two different supermarkets, went to a bazaar to get a couple of things for Halloween, just heading home now. Starving.

Don't ever apologise.

Glad you're feeling a bit better.

There's always another day xx

ThomasC 26-10-2024 06:20 PM

Today I haven't really got out of bed because I'm hungover.

I will have a shower soon, go shop and get junk then try to find a decent movie to watch.

I'm quite horny too so might see what talent is around
