also looooool so all of a sudden the final two are eligible for AFP now that Tyler's in it?

First Paul (twice), then Ross, now Tyler. If you play the best game, you're going to upset people, that's how the game of Big Brother works... which is starting to mean you won't win the game then, you're better off trying to win as a Johnny Mac or even a Victoria. And I like those houseguests but those aren't winning players, they're more about lucking out to the end. This is what BB is coming down to now which is a shame as it's a strategic game that includes backstabbing and that should be accounted for more in the vote. |

Again, Tyler lost pretty much every single Jury vote on his own. He handled the whole Bayleigh boot week TERRIBLY that pretty much openly told her "I don't care about you or your Jury vote," and the first Juror almost always sets the tone. Rockstar followed suit as well. He strung Scottie along and came off like a twat in his goodbye message ("I HAD THE POWER APP... TELL YOUR FRIENDS" to which Scottie thankfully replied "um no") He also strung Sam along and left her feeling very hurt and then he openly called her a wildcard in his jury questions and talked about her more as a chess piece rather than a human being, and it doesn't take a genius to realize that that is a huuuuge misstep when handling her. Like Fessy's the only vote that Tyler didn't really do anything to lose, but he's a jock dumbass who is more impressed by Comp wins anyway.
The game isn't broken just because Tyler put in hella work to get to the end but didn't really put in the work to get the Jury votes. This isn't going to have a negative effect on the show. Life will go on. |
For one, that's really nitpicking at Tyler's jury management considering ALL he did in the game and how much he had to do and say to explain himself to the jurors (in such little time as well). Second, by that logic Cody should've beat Derrick in BBUS16. There's just no consistency to it which is fine but now it's starting to lean towards the worse player is going to win the show and that's more rebellion from the jury than it is rewarding for the season's conclusion. Tyler could've maybe shown more human affection towards the jury in his speech but on a lot of seasons the "I had great genuine relationships with you guys" doesn't win you the prize.
And honestly Kaycee was a deserving winner though but she played more of the "play for a duo" 2nd place game (which you criticized Cody for a ton). |
I'll be honest. I was Derrick's number one fan... as you all may remember lol... and held up the banner for a great player verses a nice guy... but I didn't feel the same about Tyler as I did Derrick. When the jury was voting, my kid asked who I wanted to win... and I said if I was sticking with my tradition views... it would be the one who played everyone to get to the end, ie Tyler. But maybe it was the way he played people?? I just couldn't back him all season. I actually wanted to at first? But it nevčr happened. I was glad of the final two options... Kaycee took it

Ugh we LOVE a lesbian queen  I'm also thrilled how brainwashed JC, Brett and Angela didn't get their winner. KC ain't giving you nothing!
Oh and a scream and Rachel sobbing :joker: |

There doesn't have to be any consistency because there's no secret formula that should guarantee you the win. The Jury is composed of different people each year and formed under different circumstances. I don't know why it's hard to understand in 2018 that treating people with basic respect can go a long way. |
Two major problems I have
First I thought taking Tyler instead of JC wasn't a good game move. Second all the stuff about being friends with everyone when from what I've heard she actually kept safe within Level 6 for much of the game and didn't relate to the other side of the house much at all. I remember Hayleigh saying as much at one point. So that was pure bull**** really. I skipped over whatever Swaggy was saying at the end. The time allocation wasn't good in general, nothing from several of the previous HGs. |

Kaycee winning :clap1: Best outcome from the worst case secnarios tbh.

Twitter and ex-BB alumni are so fumed @ Tyler losing, saying the jury feature of the game has been ruined forever, hard work is no longer rewarded etc. I'm screaming :joker:
|
Was rooting for Tyler but I'm still quite happy with a KC win but yeah they really had far too little time to talk about their game. I miss the old days when they go into detail without fear of going over time
|
I kind of miss the randomness of the Scales of Justice ngl and that comp went on for far too long... although I guessed 3000 seconds so maybe I would have won that won  also there were no dramatics because people were too busy hugging Swaggy whilst Julie rush read the votes.
