If everyone is happy with what I produced* then I will go ahead and make said thread.

*Anybody who has any criticism of my production is simply jealous. :idc:

Didn't realise it'd come out as an SWF file. Could do with being converted to a gif.

Little bit of me is proud of this one tbh.

I saw a Chelsea fan not from London when I was out today and yet us United fans from Manchester are called ''glory hunters'' :idc:.

I think Christian Benteke will stay at Aston Villa in the Summer and I also reckon that the Villa will avoid relegation:).

Locke. 03-05-2013 05:30 PM

They'll stay up but it'll be hard for them to keep hold of him

He is happy there and wants to play regular football, if a big club comes in for him of course they can offer more money and European football but they cannot guarantee first team football?

bbfan1991 03-05-2013 05:33 PM

Has someone actually started a transfer prediction thread?:D

Not as yet.

bbfan1991 03-05-2013 05:42 PM

Newcastle got linked with Jay Spearing:joker:. Have Liverpool lost faith in him?

He has scored 18 league goals this season and is still young, he could easily force himself into the starting line up of most of the top sides in this league

Depends what they value him at though, probably £20m+ and I'd be surprised if anyone went that high

King Gizzard 03-05-2013 05:44 PM

the club won't let him go for anything less than 30m, understandable when we don't need or want to sell him and I think he will stay one more year so he has guarenteed games going into the world cup

He still needs to replicate his goal form for next season if he remains with Villa or moves to a top club in the Premier League to prove he is consistent.

King Gizzard 03-05-2013 05:49 PM

and we'll give Weimann a new contract, only players who will be leaving are Ireland, Bent, Dunne, Given (if we can find a buyer) then a few of the players who haven't played much this season

free up about 300k in wages a week

I think you will obviously need to buy some experienced players this Summer if a couple of the older and more established players are going.

King Gizzard 03-05-2013 05:51 PM

''experience'' is overrated

the older established players haven't played so they don't need replacing with more old heads

bbfan1991 03-05-2013 05:53 PM

It is good giving younger players a chance, but is following the same strategy again a risk? Well it worked for United, but it is different at a club like Villa in terms of resources available.

What I mean is a mixture of youth/experience!

Novo 03-05-2013 05:54 PM

yeah i agree with you on experience is overrated, i'd rather have younger players who are hungry to win something for the first time then laid back experienced players who have done it all before recently
