US GP this weekend. Very excited for it.

About to watch Qualifying for it. Right now the US is showing NASCAR Nationwide Qualifying (NASCAR's GP2 series basically, Sprint Cup Drivers who race in NASCAR's Top Series can race in it but cannot receive drivers points.)

Will have a hard time because I'll be flipping between NASCAR's Sprint Cup Finale and US GP.

Good thing about the US GP is that now it's on at the perfect time over here

For anyone that thinks that there shouldn't be a US GP.

That's a huge crowd for a qualifying session

I think this is the best new circuit for a very long time..... Im hoping Alonso makes a great start......Schumacher 5th which is a huge surprise..... hopefully he makes a good start and doesnt decide the title by a crash....

Crash is ok if it is into Vettel, Alonso is due some luck

true!

I really want it to go down to brazil.... is there any way they can be level on points going into the last race?

Not sure TBH but Alonso really deserves the title in my opinion. When they had equal cars he was owning Vettel and he has had ZERO luck. Even last week when it looked like he would get a break every car in front of Vettel kept crashing out lol

Ferrari is considering replacing the gearbox in Felipe Massa's car before the start of the United States Grand Prix.

The Brazilian is set to line-up sixth on the grid at Austin, two places ahead of team-mate Fernando Alonso, but his engineers are understood to be concerned about the state of his gearbox.

A Ferrari spokesman confirmed that the Italian outfit was looking closely at the matter, but said that no final decision had been made.

"We are evaluating the situation right now," the spokesman said.

A penalty for Massa would lead to a five-place grid penalty and drop him down to 11th of the grid.

However, the move would prove to be a bonus for Alonso, who would move up one place to seventh - which is crucially on to the cleaner side of the grid.

Massa, who would also move to the cleaner side of the grid, had warned on Saturday night that those drivers starting on the dirty side would be at a big disadvantage.

"I think it will be the biggest difference you ever saw at a start," said Massa. "It will be massive. This morning I did the start on the left, and I was slower than in the wet."
DIRTY TACTICS by Ferrari gotta love it

I'll probably watch them on BBC over Sky even when they are on Sky as well, prefer the commentary team

Drew. 08-03-2013 04:01 PM

it wont be the same without Jake Humphrey but it'll still be better and it means i can watch it in HD
