What I mean is a mixture of youth/experience!

Not particularly when these players will have the experience of this season to go on (if we stay up), and now that we're finally playing together in a style where we're actually winning/holding onto games playing good football I don't think it'll be such the struggle it was this season

I can only see us replacing the likes of Bent with more lower league footballers blended in with another couple from Holland or something

Ryan57 03-05-2013 06:01 PM

Please, with the cash you earn from sales, refund us for that sorry excuse of a winger you sold us in the summer of 2011.

kthxbai.

King Gizzard 03-05-2013 06:04 PM

as I've said countless times Downing was much better in the season before they both left

Use to like both and, personally, rate Young higher.

King Gizzard 03-05-2013 06:05 PM

Once people figured out what his game was he was just ****ed since then basically

and I doubt we'll get cash from sales, no one will pay for Given Ireland or Dunne and we'd probably only get about 8m for Bent now

Well, his game hasn't exactly changed through the years and he's 27. Everyone knew his game but he still did well. Started at United brilliantly.

Young hate is seriously old now. Not as bad as L.K's agenda at least. Guy was played in all of our big games for a reason and surprise surprise...he actually done a job im them. He played a great role in the wins at Eastlands and the bridge. One of the main reasons Evra has been great again is due to Young infront of him. Nani remains to have the worst performance by one of our wingers this season yet he is bumlicked non stop. People are spoiled off this Youtube highlights stepover **** where they see Some guy from Brazil skip past 6 guys and it's suddenly "OMG, he is so amaze".

Before you complain about his wages. Any winger significantly better than him will cost alot more in transfer fee and either similar or more wages.

King Gizzard 03-05-2013 06:08 PM

^ probably because they are

Amazing in the home game against City where he did sweet F.A. going forward and failed to help Evra.
I was pleased when he signed, didn't understand some United fans questioning it, although I admit now I was entirely wrong. They were right. One more season he'll probably get and if utter sh-ite then sold. His two seasons so far have been average at best.

Lucas Moura, whilst the price tag was a decent amount more, although we were willing to pay a fair amount, is on way less wages than him. And let's be fair, Young isn't fit to clean his boots.

And Woy considers him England's best winger. Give me a break.

Luckily for him, all our wingers have been shocking this season.

bbfan1991 03-05-2013 06:11 PM

I'm meh when it comes to Ashley Young in general.

Ryan57 03-05-2013 06:12 PM

I'd rather pay a significantly higher amount and get a better winger.

King Gizzard 03-05-2013 06:13 PM

Moura woulda been really good

Yeah. Choose the one big game where the whole team went to **** lol. Would still play him in everyone of our big away games next season and I hope Fergie does too tbh.

For him it's just a case of avoiding injury as soon as he looks half decent.

Nearly had him. Hazard too. Both miles better than Hunchback Marlo Stanfield.

bbfan1991 03-05-2013 06:13 PM

I would love Ronaldo to come back to United, but it won't happen this Summer.

James Rodriguez?

Never thought we were shat in that game tbh. Neither team exactly had many chances. Or did a lot. Thought the criticism was harsh, personally.

Sums up our midfield when you hope he gets played in big away games.

He has odd good moments but, squad player at best. Not sure he's even good enough for that, tbh.

bbfan1991 03-05-2013 06:15 PM

Lucas Moura said he was close to signing for United then PSG came in and trumped the offer with better wages. I can see why the money tempted him..

King Gizzard 03-05-2013 06:15 PM

The funny thing about James Rodriguez is is all the pundits trying to sound smart saying ''Ham-ez'' when I think he is actually just James without all the foreign accents

We were never going to pay Hazard what he wanted. We were never gonna get him. Lucas went for like 45m Euros. Like **** were we going to pay that fro a winger.

King Gizzard 03-05-2013 06:16 PM

yeah I reckon Fergie just got pissed off with Hazard's whole play out of the whole thing, didn't want to be held to ransom (like pogba)

I remember all that **** about revealing after games who he'd sign for and then he never did it..just a bit of a dick really

bbfan1991 03-05-2013 06:16 PM

United should definitely try for one of Strootman/Matic/Gundogan/Wanyama or even Cabaye when it comes to realistic CM targets.

Please let this be the Summer where SAF strengthens our weakest area if he wants the team to improve rather than be stubborn and ignore it!

We'd agreed to pay around £30 million for Moura.

And we paid £18 million for Ashley Young. I think we'd be willing to pay a fair amount for a good winger.

It's simple. If he wants to conquer Europe again before retiring it has to be improved. If we rely on Anderson and Cleverley again, then god help us.

This.

Spending big on a Winger is ridiculous. It basically means we are getting no midfielder or an average one. Not as ridic as people saying we should buy Falcao or Lewa though

bbfan1991 03-05-2013 06:19 PM

I still think that Rooney is staying and the latest Javier Hernandez stories are pissing me off big time.
