Ooo I watched The Uninvited tonight! It was an okay horror film.
Spoiler:

Was not expecting the "twist" at the end. Don't want to spoil it.. but it wasn't the step mum to be who was the psychotic one!

I know it was romantic but I kept imagining Gavin dying then :bawling:

and you just ruined the ending lol luckily I've already seen that film, I thought it was brilliant for a horror, had a really good storyline by horror standards. I'm going to spoiler that bit of your post btw!

Mr Nice - Quite boring. Was looking forward to it too. :(

Black Swan - I liked it in general, though I wasn't too happy with the ending. Natalie Portman was fantastic in it.

Tangled, and before that Narnia - I have very young children. This is about the level I'm going to be stuck at for at least another ten years - I think I should stay out of this thread.................... Tangled was great fun by the way :elephant: It's not Shrek, but it's not bad either.............

Tangled was pretty good and I'm 21 and saw it with a bunch of 25/26 year olds lol. Best Disney film since Mulan IMO (not including the Pixar movies) although the songs in Tangled were pretty ****e.

Also saw Black Swan the week earlier. Was kinda similar to Requiem For A Dream because I felt thoroughly depressed for about half an hour after watching it... and then I moved on lol

I really enjoyed it, and I think Morgan Freeman was excellent, but maybe I had too high expectations because I always hear how good it is, I dont really think it did that much to put itself above any other serial killer film that's out there :/

Taken. Brilliant action thriller. Always had me on my toes! Would love there to be another Taken film. I remember some members were discussing they would love to see a sequel of Taken in which I agree with!

Land Of The Lost, such a funny film!

Josy 05-02-2011 01:06 PM

Watched the Goonies last night on tcm then watched The Thirteenth Floor, was alright.

GypsyGoth 07-02-2011 07:47 PM

Seen A Little Bit of Heaven, my tear ducts got a good workout.

Watched Crash on DVD last night.

Was nice to see Sandra Bullock in a different kind of role than the usual nicey nice ones. But she was only in it 5 minutes and there were too many "talking to the audience" monologues about racism. Other than that, it was ok.

State Of Grace

MTVN 12-02-2011 01:01 AM

Drag Me to Hell - loved it

DrunkerThanMoses 12-02-2011 08:05 AM

Lost Boys the thirst - Bad acting, and just not really good, was much better then the tribe.

Roman - Um, was okay, a bit boring.

Mothers Day - Thought it had some good acting for a old low budget horror film. Was funny a few times.

I Spit on your grave - I perfered the orginal, but not a bad remake, the rape scene for me was more horrfic this time around. It was suspenseful with some decent acting.

Josy 12-02-2011 02:43 PM

Braveheart
The Hangover
The Usual Suspects
Disturbing Behaviour

Harry Brown.

Really powerful, scary film. Great though.

Tom4784 13-02-2011 12:08 AM

Never Let Me Go, good but depressing.

KG. 13-02-2011 12:28 AM

The Mechanic - Run of the mill action film with an average story but some pretty awesome scenes, probably won't buy it on DVD but I enjoyed watching it at the cinema.
