Arsenal are closing in on a deal for Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh.

The Mirror says Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has already lined up Chamakh as Emmanuel Adebayor’s replacement.

Arsenal have got an £8m deal in place for 25-year-old Chamakh as soon as Adebayor goes.

Adebayor is my favourite player in the premiership (outside of Sunderland).

I rate Adebayors style over Torres' too tbh. Not being biased, I support neither team.

Torres - 8/10
Adebayor - 9/10

6/10 for now.. Plus not many people even know who he is, but everybody knows Torres!

You know Torres is a god.

Arshavin put 4 goals in one game past your so called gods Andyman.

Hes 9/10 based on his Arsenal performances.

Every game he played he made a massive difference to the Arsenal play.

He got 4 goals which kept up from losing to liverpool and he made loads of assists to!
