Two things that have been irritating me a lot lately.

1 - People who have their opinions mocked if they're not in the "majority" opinion, my Dad got told he was being "awkward" today over who was meant to be the best player on the Cricket, I know that there's no malice in what was said to him, but I just don't like this thing that some people have about putting peer pressure on people to have the same opinions as them.

2. Someone on DS on TXF section telling me that "Fleur can sing I just don't like her voice" and it's kind of like her voice is her singing so of course to me she can't sing:joker: it's a weird contradiction that I can never understand when people say it.

....hmm, that kind of contradicts really, doesn't it, Luke..?...that maybe they do that/belittle etc for the very reason that they feel about themselves the complete opposite of thinking they're 'better than'...it's more having a low self esteem, I think...(that's not justifying how they make others feel though, I do understand that..)...

You never know these days. They did love their confederate merchandise and flags before they were famous.

.......

First Celine loses people she loves within weeks and now poor Iman. Sh lost David, the friend that introduced them on February and now her mum. :( Stay strong, Iman.

The Chase with it's unfair questions against young people, it's coming off quite ageist to me as they never give out questions for me, ever.

Marsh. 02-04-2016 03:32 AM

How can a question be "against young people"?

Giving out all questions aimed towards an older audience like really old Royalty families, and old history about London itself which then Bradley acts smug like everybody should know it.

..I know, I read about this, this morning CeeCee....

"Saddened by death of my mom Maryan Baadi. May Allah grant her the highest jennah. I beg that you respect my family's privacy during our time of grief," Iman said on her official accounts.

Iman was born in Somalia and raised in Tanzania. She told the Washington Post in 1997 that her mother sold all her jewellery to put her through boarding school "because that was the best education for girls."

Or the show could ask a diverse set of questions like all General Knowledge Quizzes are suppose to do?

And I do have a life, I'm not gonna just spend all of my time studying up on Medieval London, and some Royal Family from Turkmenistan.

Mystic Mock 03-04-2016 04:53 AM

Oh and Verdi Operas, and 50's Music.

Now Back To The Future is something that I have a shot with as even though I watched it when I was a lot younger, I do remember basics about the Film, does The Chase decide to ask a question on Back To The Future? No.

I have nothing against them asking questions for the older audiences, but what they should remember is that the show does have people under 20 watch it too.:fist::joker:

I honestly would love Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Modern Football, Modern Politics, Modern Music, and maybe Media questions like Newspapers etc.

The only thing that they're good at with the Modern questions is Royal Families as they're obsessed with it on the show, so if you have knowledge on it then it's the show for you.

Oh and the show also likes to ask a lot of annoying Cockney rhyming slang that makes no sense, and it's just pot luck on if you can get some of them or not as it isn't English in my eyes, or any language for that matter.

Btw I wanted to lol at your Jonny B Goode, I was slow on the uptake there.:joker:

I love puns, it's why I love Community so much with Pelton and Chang coming out with constant puns.

I watch The Chase myself and the questions are diverse. It's not all about Medieval London. :umm2:

My new obsession for Snapped women who kill. The amount of people that kill their spouses for insurance. And the amount of people that think they can get away with it.
