It's crazy to think that Arsenal win actually puts the race for the title back in City's hands. With KDB back and hitting form, and if Haaland comes back goal scoring you'd have to think it'll be City's title yet again.

I'm no Liverpool fan, but i wouldn't be upset if they won in Klopp's last season. I don't want to see Arsenal win it, and Spurs have no chance now which is great.

i dont think city will win every game in their run in like previous years, but we will see. I think it could go all the way till the final game

Yeah I think ManC are weaker than last season so that gives Liverpool and now Arsenal a chance

Even Spurs when they have Maddison back to full fitness plus Son .. plus Bissouma and Sarr running the midfield again

Full strength Spurs starting eleven with a bench of Johnson , Werner , Bentancur , Lo Celso , Bryan Gil , Højbjerg , Davies and Skipp will be a hell of a force !!!

It’s all swung in ManCities favour

Haalans back , KDB back .. Klopp leaving . Liverpool losing to Arsenal .. Liverpool’s Konate self off and misses games

Haaland shows how its done

liverpool are tearing brentford apart

Zizu 17-02-2024 02:42 PM

The Brentford captain Nørgaard tried to body check Jota and elbowed him in the neck as he ran through the Brentford defence early on .. not penalised .. soon after Nørgaard lunged into the back of Jones who was knocked off balance and landed badly - looks a bad injury and couldn’t continue

Then Nørgaard crashed into Jota and fell on his knee .. looks like a dreadful injury.

Nørgaard didn’t even get a yellow today

Also Maupay who’s a foot shorter than Konaté man marked him at all the dead ball / free kicks ..and just held ans grappled him all through the game .. the ref did nothing

Absolute bollox

Rule number 1 in Football is to not deliberately wind up the more talented opposition.:joker:

chelsea are mowing down the city players

Swan 17-02-2024 05:15 PM

Well then!!!

Swan 17-02-2024 05:20 PM

Not been the walk over i was anticipating so far! Would never have predicted going into the half time break 1 up!!

Swan 17-02-2024 05:23 PM

If Chelsea can hold on to this it really does blow the title race wide open, which is officially a 3 horse race now after Spurs choked today, which was great. Villa won't have the staying power.

Zizu 17-02-2024 05:29 PM

Yikes that stamp on Doku by Caicedo !!!

How does the ref and then VAR miss that ?

Thought you'd be happy Chelsea are winning, it massively helps Liverpool and Arsenal

I expected Spurs to struggle without their two fabulous fullbacks

Same happened when Chelsea lost their two fullbacks at the same time ( this season and last I think )

it's likely that there will be 5 teams that qualify for the CL this season, so thats going to make the run in interesting too

Thing is it's all good and well saying that and but City were without their 2 best players for a couple of months, and still kept up. You can't make excuses for this teams who spend big money, and i include Chelsea in that.

Zizu 17-02-2024 05:37 PM

Sterling has been his usual sh1te self until that goal .. . Great play by Jackson in the buildup

Why is Sterling still running into dead ends at his age .. and his first touch and vision is non existent

I don’t know .. losing two in linked positions like full backs or CBs makes a huge difference

I don't rate him, and never have. His goal was fortunate, but i'll take it.

Great commitment!

Walker always seems slightly unbalanced ( mentally) .. maybe that’s why he makes such dreadful decisions in his private life ..
