I'm sure I've read or heard that's not uncommon? I can't remember where, but it's a possible factoid of which I was aware.

Also they said potentially more educated muslims were more likely to believe conspiracy theories around the whole thing.
Again, that's not something that surprises me. I always thought conspiracy nuts were either basement-dwellers, or people we'd call educated.

My grandmother was Jewish, which apparently makes me Jewish if I want to be! I choose not to be, and my husband, who was born into a Jewish family also chooses not to follow the Jewish faith. My farther-in-law lost (apart from his grandmother) all his relatives in the Nazi occupation and he refuses to side with Zionism in this awful conflict.
That said, I have a very good understanding of Judaism and so if I wish to pick sides between those who follow the three oaths of the Talmud and the Medrash and those that don't, then that's what I will do.

Interesting you don't mention that your mother was, considering it follows the female line. My grandmother survived the camps but lost her whole family but that doesn't make me more Jewish.
