I'd really like to see some old characters this year, maybe Curly and Emma should return and move into the Morton's place (the Morton's should be axed), and maybe Karen McDonald should make a re-appearance to cause some tention between Michelle and Steve. I'd also like to see Mad Maya back, she was one of the street's best characters. If i'm right in thinking, her jail sentence is almost up.

I also think karen should come back as well and you never know chewy it might come back

Mad Maya should definately be released (or break our for a week of special revenge episodes) Karen would be great at the moment, I wonder what she would make of Michelle, and Curly would be great too

Also, I think that Alex should move into the Rovers, and the audience would follow the relationships develop between Michelle and Alex, and also Alex and Ryan. Then Michelle, Steve, Ryan and Alex would move out of The Rovers and into a new house.
Maybe some of the minor characters should be given a bigger role. We haven't seen Archie for a little while, so maybe he could come back for a while. I've heard a rumour that Martin Platt is returning in 2008 to help Gail deal with David, so maybe Gail and Martin could get back together, which would be great as they've been apart for years.

I think if the Mortons where given a storyline they could be good
