I refuse to answer the door on halloween anymore after I got a little bastard throwing a strop on my doorstep a few years back because I gave him a pack of haribos instead of cash

Jords 24-10-2011 01:44 AM

That reminds me of 1 time when I went trick-or-treating an oldish woman answered the door I knocked at, stared at me and my bro then closed the door :laugh3:

Miserable cow.

Kerry 24-10-2011 01:45 AM

I do answer the door. I actually get the micky taken cos I give good treats :D

I just take out the Refreshers first.......

I hate those who just knock and have a mask on. Teens usually who can't be bothered and as you say, want cash. Luckily though theres never been any bother *touch wood*

King Gizzard 24-10-2011 01:57 AM

Havn't had trick or treaters for ages in our last 2 houses cause they were out of the way, but we normally just turn the light off and go in the back room so it looks like we're not in

They start about 2 weeks before Halloween here. Tends to be the same couple of people with different 20p masks on every night, as if you cant tell

Before I started being a 'halloween-scrooge' there was 2 guys, probably about 15/16 came round 3 times in one night. 2nd time they came I told them to piss off and stop being so greedy. 3rd time I didnt have to speak, they realised they had knocked on the wrong door when they recognized me and walked off :D

It was annoying as hell, first time they came with one in a mask and the other just standing, second and third time they both had masks. I think they were mainly doing it for the old people who would likely not realize it was the same people over and over (and who tend to give a bit more money than others) :bored:

I had no idea people give money to trick or treaters..what the hell

They spoil it for the little 'uns and scare the elderly. Teens really shouldn't trick or treat.
