With +1 it will be around 3.6m and 3.5m.... brilliant :)

Inside BB are saying its the most watched eviction show since Jennifers eviction in BB9.

Did we get the figures inc +1 for the eviction shows? x

Gavin 17-01-2010 01:20 PM

Not bad for CBB. Could be better, however, if live feed was still around.

Its not too far off BB9 which had live feed.

But BB9 was in the summer when less people are usually watching TV than winter.

I think if live feed was still around, CBB7 would be getting closer to 4m.

I have to admit the ratings aren't as bad as I was expecting. They're quite good, but LF could have given the show an extra half a million IMO.

Most times than not the ratings for CBB are down on the summer anyway, and not only does this years CBB have more viewers than BB10, but also the CBB before it and virtually the same as the summer BB before that.

Time to get some new straws to clutch at me thinks. This series is proof that noone likes the live feed, it has no effect on ratings. If the main show is good enough people will watch it. Its why noone watched CBB6 and BB10.

You can't say it has no effect on the ratings. If Live Feed was still around, it could be doing even better. Actually, it probably would.

Ratings are still lower than BB9, so it's still not up to the ratings of the last series which had live feed.

CBB7 unofficial average so far- 3.5m

Hmmm... well, I don't take anything for guaranteed until the "official" ratings come out.

But I still believe with live feed, CBB7 would be around 4m. Live feed helps create a buzz among viewers and in the media.

Tom 17-01-2010 01:36 PM

Well this series has a lot of buzz without the live feed. I might be wrong and it might have more viewers but the fact it is currently rating higher than the last series to have to says it all.

Glad it's doing a bit better.

Nope not yet. They will be released tomorrow im sure.

By the way the official ratings for the first week will be released on wednesday. I think that as the overnight average of the 1st week is 3.7m, it will be 4m officially. Only time will tell, we will have to wait for Wednesday.

Officially it got 3.6m.
The biggest drop in viewers was from BB3 to BB4 and BB9 to BB10.

BB7 to BB8 was quite a big drop but not as big as the above.

Lemo 17-01-2010 11:51 PM

you lot make the worst excuses for it being a low rating

sometimes 8pm shows get worse than 11pm but you all just say "oh its cos its 8pm quite early"

and some of you are like "its good for 11pm because its late" etc etc

Traditionally, 9pm is the slot it does best in... so thats where they should put it, despite competition, because then people can watch it on +1 at 10pm.

8pm is early, and they hardly ever advertise it, i know loads of people that miss the show because they dont have a TV listings guide because BB keep changing the ****ing schedule!

And 11pm is too late... there is about 50% people less watching TV at 11pm then there are at 9pm. Also a lot of 13-16 year olds watch BB, they would have school the next day.

Thisd last 2 weeks there has been about 26m people watching TV at 9pm, and 12m watching at 11pm. Thats why for later shows the % share counts....

DigitalSid 18-01-2010 11:41 AM

3.5 and 3.46 for Friday including +1.

DigitalSid 18-01-2010 11:42 AM

3 million for yesterday including +1.

*mazedsalv** 18-01-2010 11:49 AM

Weekend ratings:

Friday(1)- 3.5m
Friday(2)- 3.5m
Saturday- 2.7m
Sunday- 3.0m

Still all shows apart from the 2 saturday ones have been all 3m+ :D
If we can get all 3m+ this week, then it ruined any chances of it flopping LOL... the schedule was so bad the past week and this week, that if it still achieved 3m+ would be brilliant :)

I think the 2nd weeks overnight average is 3.3m (3.6m when official i reckon)

The first show will be lucky to get more than 3 up against the soaps.
