I've never watched Coach Trip before but I have it set to record next Monday!! :D

Hi Happyland. I don't usually watch Coach Trip too, have caught it now and then but will be glued to it with Ben on.

You are right too, he had a humour whereby he was funny and harmlessly hilarious without even trying to be. The house was the sadder for him going but as someone pointed out on here last night, BB was negatively portraying him, other housemates were winding him up, which he handles with great dignity, however mentally it must have been starting to take its toll.

If medals were given out for the best and dignified way of dealing with verbal hostilities by a housemate/s then for his dealings with Jjames and Mario too, Ben should have been given loads of them.

So much for those who said Ben would be forgotten quick once BB was finished, he is more popular than ever.

Ben was 1 of the best HM's in the history of BB imo.. Seems he has a lot of offers for work, hopefully some of it will be on our tv's

Morning Joey :)

Yeah he is very unaware of how funny he is... In fact he seem to be unaware of most of his positive qualiteies. I really don't think he realises how charismatic, humourous and endearing he actually is, which to me is a very positive trait in itself!

And yeah, really looking forward to Coach Trip :D

Hiya M, its me the England football ticket M !! yep to GV, thats where we are friends
Yes Ben is lubberly, he is one of those people who you just want to squeeze both his cheeks. He honestly doesnt realise how funny he can be, and is an expert in putdowns, that doesnt even sound like a putdown :spin:

Kazanne 02-11-2010 11:09 AM

As some of you know,BB kind of died for me when Ben left, the only fun I got out of it after was watching Crabby blow his 'goody two shoes' image and showing us what a mega hypocrite he is,and the only thing I liked Mario for was bringing Ben back into the house, bet he was livid Ben didn't respond in the way he wanted him too,LOL

gemmiej 02-11-2010 11:09 AM

He defo deserved a medal. I have never seen such resilience by a housemate in the whole of BB.

It died for me too - stopped watching apart from eviction show and when Ben went back in. Only dipped in and out of final to see Ben and the start of UBB - which I watched. Viewing figures fell after Ben left and only came back in the last week. Loved it when Crab eyes came out to boo's and such dislike:spin: Mario played his cards wrong.

Ben was the most popular housemate on the other place right up till he left and had the biggest following - you wouldn't know that though with the way the forum was controlled.......:nono:

Good afternoon everyone:hugesmile::cheer2:

:xyxwave: I liked Ben from the very start, just loved his dry sense of humour. Was gutted when he left, it just wasnt the same house. But he is the one laughing now with all the radio work and tv stuff, while most of the others are going back to their lifes before BB

Don't laugh now, but I was practically in tears when Ben was evicted :bawling: Honestly, I felt so emotional and upset. I felt like the house would never be the same, and you know what, it wasn't! Those spiteful twitter tweens and their campaign to get Ben (and later Corin) out ruined the whole show for me :nono:I have watched Big Brother since series 1 and I think it's the first time the show has been ruined by tactical voting, a big part of me was glad it was ending as I think BB12 would have been much the same. I still don't think that these people fully understood the concept of the show either.

I can see Ben turning up on lots of things in the future:dance:

katkim 02-11-2010 01:11 PM

I was disappointed the Ben was evicted, but I had spent the day preparing myself for it. The twitter mob really had their claws out, not even counting the scamming tweets, so I thought there was a good chance that Ben would be going.

On the other hand, I was kind of happy because of the atmostphere in the house, Ben wasn't having the greatest time with the lack of sleep, plus we would get to see Ben on all the BB sister shows, interviews and all kinds of out-of-house goodies which we got. Imagine if he lasted to the final? A five second interview on BBLB and that would have been about it! No web chat. No Ben looking for Shirley! No Beninem! No The Ben Show :)

I knew because of the tweenies that Ben was going to go, so soon as Davina spoke, i turned my TV off..and ive never heard Davina say Bens name ! just waited for him to have his interview and boy did our Ben do well, he had them eating out of his hand,, one of the best eviction interviews , and Ben actually looked happy to be out of the vipers pit, and we got to see him on all the spin offs, so not all bad .
Re the tweenie and Fb campaigns, they ruined BB, hence the reason we had the worst final in BB history
