Got a bit in Sheff but naaaat much

The gf was supposed to be coming back to uni today, but it snowed more and she can't travel in, and may not be able to until next weekend now.

Snow day, school's closed! Not often we get it here but a few cm's so far :D

I went to Sainsburys at 7 (I just wanted an excuse to look at snow) and I made the mistake of wearing my pyjamas and slip-on shoes... I nearly fell over five times :( didn't happen either time though #proud

Wales have a red weather warning in place, thats really rare.

All the virgin snow went to Scotland, but then us English came and took it for ourselves, as our privilege.

Here in Bristol we woke up to over 2" s and its still snowing - no one seems to have attempted going to work.

Woke up to a light dusting but we have a yellow warning in place for lunchtime, just started again now and looks like it might be in for a few hours.....

We've had no snow whatsoever, but I'm still having the day off because I've been vomiting all morning s0b. (just thought I'd give you that image.)

Think its coming your way...its quite bad here so you will probably get it soon as you're not a million miles away and the whole of Greater Manchester and Cheshire are meant to be getting some by lunchtim...
