yeah passing is great for once. i mean we cant score. watch all other teams when they get near to goal you know a goal is coming. and even if they miss they do again and score.
england were shooting over and to the left to the right even on corners are miles away. we cant score proper goals its usually always easy ones.
they took chances tonight which is great to see normally they dont but they still cant score, why cause they just panic must be a english thing
the other teams no hesitation when go for goals

Tried to make things happen.
Forced a save from the keeper once.
Took on players.

His effort on goal was decent to be fair

You cant honestly say we can't score based on this game. We scored a great goal and forced 2 great saves from Sirigu.. we're playing against Italy here, not Peru.

That was a great game. Really enjoyed it. Both teams played well. It could have easily gone the other way.

Shaun 15-06-2014 12:14 AM

go away vanessa :fist:

Brother Leon 15-06-2014 12:15 AM

Suarez will definitely be back for our game. He and Uruguay will force it to happen unless he can't even jog.

Also..unpopular opinion, but we probably looked better in the Euros tbh. May not of been "pretty", but the Defense was absolutely brilliant, Gerrard was great and Theo/Welbeck were dynamic as Big Andy also delivered. This team has great promise though, but let's not get too carried away with Barkley..he has huge potential, but he isn't going to change anything drastically by starting right now...nor is Lallana who the media have hyped up ridiculously. Look how great Rooney was at Barkley's age..that was someone who transformed the England team when he burst on the scene...shame he's ****e now lol

Sterling was the great positive and Welbeck/Sturridge threatened. Hopefully those three have a little better luck against Uruguay Shame Adnan didn't wait for England(not like it was ever going to happen anyway"...him,Sterling and Barkley would of been pretty cool to see in a few years.

EDIT: My sig really needs Sterling instead of Rooney, but there are no pics of those three ffs.

can handpick good goals. goal hanging and set peices isnt scoring. the best teams dont need to reply on that.

the main thing about this game is roony is surely finished? anyone agree
for england anyway he needs to go

Locke. 15-06-2014 12:17 AM

A goal is a goal, doesn't matter how it goes in as long as it does

So now after 1st round Costa Rica leads the group. Crazy, isnīt it

England will next face an annoyed and potentially dangerous but a little crippled Uruguay, while Italy will face the surprise winners Costa Rica.

The talent is there for him to start games but i agree, the occasion is too big to be relying on him to start these games. Would be using him as an impact sub in most games though.

Not too disheartened by that, that was our toughest game and we played alright. On another day we might have got something from that. Time for a strong cuppa before the late game

Are England out or do they get another chance?

england never are good at scoring never have been. goal hanging and corners and free kicks. skill goals are few and far between.
other teams its the other way around. thats down to skill and confidence.
we tried tonight though just couldn't get on target or too weak

Legend killer 15-06-2014 12:22 AM

Beeb rightfully highlighting Wayne as the trash he is whilst as usual brushing over Stevie and his rubbish passing smh.

What does stevie do exacty???

Can't pass and can't intercept or break up play yet is being played as a holding mid

http://s3.amazonaws.com/rapgenius/mi...n-laughing.gif

Without Wayne and Stevie this England team might not actually be half bad

Not sure why i'm wasting my time getting these but these goals are all recent-ish.. i'm still failing to see your point.

Just going back 4/5 years we were the highest scorers in the qualifying group stage for the 2010 world cup.. our goal scoring stats were insane. Have you ever watched England before tonight?
