There's not much competition tonight, apart from Skyfall on ITV which was played only a couple of weekends on ITV, so unless people feel the need to watch a film the watch only 2 weeks ago! James Bond is pretty boring once you have seen the film once! So hopefully it can get maybe 2.5-6.

Way too high can't see it getting more than 2.2m being a Saturday even with tonights explosive episode

Will. 10-01-2015 06:51 PM

yeah, I guess we will just have to wait and see!

mrmattybeck1 11-01-2015 08:47 AM

An explosive and controversial #CelebrityBigBrother pulled in 2.25m/11.6% to Channel 5 from 10pm. Great numbers for a Saturday

Jake. 11-01-2015 08:48 AM

Fantastic figure and share for 10PM.. must be one of the most viewed Saturdays in the past four years?

Think it is im sure salv will check

Jake. 11-01-2015 08:49 AM

It managed to get higher than the Dappy/Luisa argument, and i think that aired at 9PM last year on a Saturday

jackc1806 11-01-2015 08:52 AM

Brilliant.

This might make me look like an optimistic fool, but I think tonight could get near 3m. We saw a inflated figure the day after Daley was ejected too

mrmattybeck1 11-01-2015 09:05 AM

Confirmed by bigblagger last nights cbb was the highest rated episode on a Saturday since cbb8 in 2011

Will. 11-01-2015 09:25 AM

Great rating and fantastic share, let's hope to tonight's get higher, is that with +1

*mazedsalv** 11-01-2015 09:41 AM

Great rating for a Saturday, fantastic share!!

Will. 11-01-2015 09:49 AM

Last year CBB 13 first Saturday got 1.85 (9.3%), so it is up by 400,000.

An CBB 11 first Saturday got 2.07 however a (9.3%)

Very impressive. I reckon around 2.7m tonight. If the events happened tonight, I would have guessed a 3m rating.

Any news on what the papers are saying? Any coverage? I think The Sun is covering it judging by a tweet I saw.

jackc1806 11-01-2015 09:54 AM

If the show was to get an 11.6% share tonight, based on last Sundays's 9pm slot it would get 2.77m!

Yes, front page on the Sun which is a huge newspaper, and front page on the Daily Star. Those two and the daily Mirror are covering it a lot, and of course all the websites like Digital Spy, Reality Box, etc. However In disappointing I'm the Mail online, they have not made a big story considering how many articles are on there.

I will check what jump the rating got in the Daley thing got in the after math.

Will. 11-01-2015 10:02 AM

The aftermath got 1.77 which is very high for BB, which normally gets like 1.1 -1.4, so about 2.5 maybe for tonight.

Double spread in the sun

Rob! 11-01-2015 10:58 AM

Not in the slightest bit surprised - last night was ****ing mental.

I hope it doesn't go the other way and turn people off though.

Cal. 11-01-2015 11:00 AM

Amazing rating for a Saturday!

Always the way isn't it. The massive arguments take place on a Saturday lol.

I agree if this episode was on tonight it would break the 3 million mark. Such an impressive share for last night and the highest rated Saturday in 4 years!

When people were saying the ratings were going to tail off and would be below 2 million by now I had every faith the show would continue its success.

This year seems to have a dedicated following already.

Scream 11-01-2015 12:40 PM

If you all say that not many people watch on Saturday, (not disagreeing, I just don't know these things), why didn't BB just put last nights show on tonight seeing as the arguments were technically yesterday.

They were at 2AM or something if I believe correctly?

It may have made for a boring show last night, but there was things like face to face noms, Nadia and Perez hating on Katie...I'm sure they could of made something out of it

Loukas 11-01-2015 01:56 PM

That's amazing, absolutely amazing :clap1:

Will. 11-01-2015 02:16 PM

So annoying Channel 5 was 150k from being the most watched channel at 10PM last night, unfortunately a bloody repeat of Skyfall got 2.40 on ITV.

Not much competition tonight apart from Last Tango In Halifax on BBC One at 9PM.

Well it Defo beat Channel 4 by 1.25 M, and it beat BBC Two, it beat BBC one from 10:20 onwards as Casualty was still on with 4 M until 10:20. And it didn't beat ITV, so yeah.
