You mean the European Juniors? Tbh I didn't really pay attention to the champs that much outside of the GB athletes but from Finland there were quite a few track medals as opposed to the usual field medals you'd expect. Sam Purola could be a future star for Finland in the 100m (silver medallist) and 200m (bronze medallist)

If you want to see whereabouts your countries teams individuals are ranked going into the world championships then you can look here:

http://roadto.de/mycountry.php?nat=FIN

Hope that was helpful!

Calderyon 27-07-2017 07:23 PM

Thanks, it was :)

Hopefully Purola can make it and make him flourish when he comes to the seniors level. In terms of results perspective and being successful in a non-traditional Finnish Athletics Event, he seems like a rare talent.

In terms of others, i like what i see what some of the long jumpers are doing. And Wilma Murto in Womenīs Pole Vault.

Queen's collecting THREE re-allocated medals at these champs as a result of doped athletes being disqualified

The target is 6 to 8 but I feel that's way too optimistic

I say 3 to 5 is more realistic although I honestly won't be shocked if Mo gives us our only two medals.

Yeah 8 is too much. Unless they are relying on the relays to deliver some bronze.

Novo 04-08-2017 03:00 PM

Thiam is 1/14 odds on, I wouldn't say she merits that price, for sure she is favourite but thats ridiculous
