Tbf this Forum is great, but it does need a set structure with it's infractions as it's just if it gets randomly reported to the Mods when the Mods should infract what they personally find offensive at that moment themselves.

Yep a lot stricter, both on and off season, if the # points per infraction given is lowered and at a set amount i think people will definitely calm down a lot

if you're getting three points per infraction you've only got 3 lives (if you will) and you're out, if you lower that to two points or one and give each offence a set # of points that all members are aware of, they can't contest it, because it's in black and white

Instead of always having members having to do the job for you, you all should be doing your jobs more efficiently, I've seen Mods on here allow some nasty **** left on the site and they've not even deleted it just because it wasn't reported to them.

That's the point I was trying to make.

We do read the majority of stuff, but a lot of its just skim reading..I don't personally read through every post properly just to check fro rulebreaks. What a lot of people need to understand here is, we are members aswell as mods. We arent here solely to sort out your messes. Its not like other sites that pay mods to do a job, we give up our free time to (attempt to) keep this site running well. Yeah we make mistakes sometimes, and when pointed out, if we agree its a mistake we have no issues reversing whatever we did (members have agreed in here..members who have had bans/infractions reversed) however a PM full of crap is not going to make us remove an infraction. Nor is saying your offensive post was a joke. Sorry.

I actually like all of the Mods on TIBB as people, but some of them are a little too lax on the wrong things imo when it comes to the rules.

Do you realise this isn't our actual jobs? 99% of internet forums rely on reports from members to keep the threads cleaned of ****, there is no way, even if we all had no life and spent 24 hours per day on this forum that we could see every rule break, it's just not possible at all.

Idgi why though, if people are constantly breaking rules, then they're going to be constantly infracted? Idg how they can contest it?
