So what - 1.5 overall?

As Daniel says - from where it was, a decent jump. Plus, those extra viewers chose a great episode to decide to tune into so hopefully it can build from that.

So basically 1.6 which is acceptable imo.

This series is probably going to average around 1.7/1.9 I really cant see it dropping to 1 million again I honestly think that was a fluke.

Ive not watched it live btw dunno about anyone else but allways watch it 15 minutes behind on recorded so I can skip the adds and the annoying "As the battle of the nations continues......" so I think a lot of people probably do the same and officials will reflect that.

1.59m is 1.6m rounded. Much better, but as I said, I hope it doesn't fall back! Would be great if tonight could get 1.7m, but there is no eviction, just a live show (which may ruin things with some stupid twist!)

Rob! 01-09-2015 11:16 AM

It beat channel 4 by the skin of it's teeth last night because of the +1 rating - before it they had exactly the same rating in the 9pm slot.
I think we're still going to find Saturday's a problem but at least we're back into more salvageable territory now.

*mazedsalv** 01-09-2015 11:19 AM

To compare, last summers first Monday got 1.65m, so that's some good news, that it was only 60k down. But then again, last summer increased every night from that Monday, leading to the Friday getting 2.00m.

Will. 01-09-2015 12:08 PM

thank goodness for that, 1.6 is decent.

People will probs tune back in after last night episode, so it can build on that.

I hope but last night was the weakest night in terms of competition for CBB, so I don't know if the rest of the week will be as high. Tonight New Tricks and Educating Cardiff could bring it back down. But hoping after last nights show and the live show tonight it can stay at the level (but I don't know if it will happen).

Hopefully the speculation of who the new HM is will help, Katie Price entrance peaked at like 3.7M

Vanessa 01-09-2015 01:49 PM

Much better ratings. It deserves more, because i think this lot are great.

mrmattybeck1 01-09-2015 02:07 PM

definitely, it's brilliant!

I wouldn't say it's a good rating.

It's still a **** rating for a summer CBB, lbr. I mean good it has increased from the awful weekend ratings, but whether it can maintain that increase for the rest of this week is another question. I mean last nights competition was weak.

it's only 100k short of last years Monday, but yeah it's not amazing, but decent imo.

Does anyone have the 5* Live From the House Rating?

Jason. 01-09-2015 02:32 PM

I think overall this series will average the same as BB14. Around 1.9m. Possibly 1.7/1.8m at worst.

I meant 1.9m officially lol.

I honestly can't see this series getting over 2m at all. Like at the moment, the BB14 ratings are higher than this series, and that averaged 1.9m officially with 1.5m overnight. So, I'm expecting around roughly the same figures for this series.

Summer CBB should not be a thing and if this doesn't make C5 realise it I don't know what will. Give us back our damn three weeks for civilian that you so rudely stole off us with your ****ing dreadful CBB obsession and run a five week CBB in January that you can go all out on.

Not only that, but I still cannot get over the disgusting way in which they treated Tila and how it's the most pathetically unjust ejection in BBUK history. This show is a shoddily produced ****ing shambles and if the ratings reflect that then it's poetic justice as far as I'm concerned.

:clap2:

Although, TBH I don't want 13 weeks for civilian BB either. I mean like with the current state of the show imagine if BB15/16 were on for an extra 3 weeks or 4 in BB16's case. I always found them to be a drag during the C4 days anyway, and the state of the show was much better back then than it is now. Having said that, If they had to I'd take a 13 week BB if it meant we didn't have a summer CBB attatched. Also, 5 week CBB in January is too long IMO.

I'd like it to be a 4 week CBB in January-early Feb and a 10/11 Week BB in June-mid August. Rinse and repeat each year.

It's been a **** summer, this year. So the weather isn't to blame for the low TV viewership. Not to mention it's September and raining.

It was hot here in early august for like 3-5 days. Where are you? I just ment hot as in for festival and raves etc etc lots things going on.

Yeah... And i said this summer has been hot.. Not had heatwaves week after week but we'be had a decent summer was just saying last week and bank holiday weekend was a bad week to begin with. I say 1.5m overnight anyway.

Jason. 01-09-2015 11:21 PM

Personally, I think it has been a **** summer. But that's just me

Jake. 02-09-2015 10:24 AM
