I would have preferred he came back later it would have been more shocking.
|
Mehhh Glenn is alive, I like him but I don't really care who dies now apart from Carol and maybe Rosita.
This has been my 2nd favourite episode of the season, just behind the Wolves raid. I still can't stand Morgan and the fact he's keeping that Wolf captive makes me hate him even more. I loved the scene where Carol stalked him  |
Morgan just bores me. I'm not bothered about him at all. That whole episode that focused on him was a chore.

BIB : Carol and Daryl for me |
Just watched the episode. As I expected, how Glenn survived was pretty stupid but I've known that he more than likely hid under the dumpster since the episode of his "death" aired so I'm just glad that whole thing's over now. It was drawn out for long enough as it is.
And why was Rosita being such a dick to Eugene, have I missed something? Looking forward to the mid-season finale, looks like all hell's about to break loose. Spoiler: Be aware that spoiler refers to a comic event. |
A bit silly really, expecting us to be shocked and fearful for the characters because the fence has come down and a herd of walkers are coming in.... 45 minutes after one character has just been flat on his back in the center of a herd and crawled to safety, and 10 minutes earlier another character fell into another herd and just safely climbed back over the fence to safety. I'm sure next week will be a fine episode and all, but they are really destroying any fear factor that comes with the walkers, and have been for quite some time.
Tara and Rosita getting screen time as well.. and quite a bit of it. One of them is definitely being killed next week. |

Alanna Masterson (Tara) was pregnant during filming, she's had the baby now but it wouldn't surprise me if they get rid of her, I like Tara but she's expendable imo.
I disagree Rosita was harsh on Eugene - she and Abraham have carried him for months and she's trying to get the Alexandrians to learn how to better defend themselves and Eugene is front and center being lazy yet again, if I were in her position I'd be pissed off too, he needs to be upping his game or he will be toast. |
How accurate are the spoiler dead page on Facebook?

The episode was good, I mean a lot definately happened but I just wish the ending had been a bit more like the comics.
Spoiler: |
Solid episode but a bit underwhelming as a mid-season finale.
Liked the after credits scene more than everything else really. |
It was by no means a bad episode, but I did feel a little bit let down. The rest of the Alexandrians should have been used, even if it was just to be torn apart by walkers. Glenn and Maggie were not involved enough and Enid's moody, stubborn phase is getting boring too. The best scenes for me were the two fights between Carl and Ron, and Carol and Morgan, even if Carol and Morgan were acting incredibly stupid. The 'Zombie guts disguise' was a nice throwback to season 1 I felt. Not too sad to see Deanna go but she did grow on me in the end. Now, the after credits scene is what everyone's been waiting for, even if it wasn't actually Negan himself. Overall, the first half of the season has been strong, with the first four being some of the best episodes the show has had

Underwhelming end to the mid season. Overall this season has been pretty crap so far, hopefully it picks up in the second half.
