they allowed the likes of The Rock, Batista, Goldberg, Lesnar and Cena Come back after a long time out (In Cena's case half a year) and let them challenge for the title straight away of guys that work their asses of full time week week and week out

It's Wrestlemania season. A Goldberg/Lesnar main event is more likely to draw in the casuals who watch once a year over a Cesaro/Finn Balor main event.

But they didnt need the title at all that match would have served its purpose on a normal match
