I've never used twitter but the general consensus of opinion seems to be that it is a lot worse - one of the worst - so find your post a little odd tbh.

I feel the thread has opened up a good discussion,people have got stuff off their chests and maybe we have all been shown that sometimes we get too embroiled in a game show where the contestants neither know us or care about us (aside from Raph) all in all,I have enjoyed this thread.

Haven't read through the whole thing and I'm not to trying to justify it in any way but Jack actually was/is very obese, and people were discussing that as a possible reason why he was voted to win some vote (can't remember what). It's slightly different from people calling female housemates (who aren't even overweight) "fat sluts" etc because they don't like them. But I admit some of the posts are horrible and not acceptable.

None of your examples showed anyone calling another MEMBER a cat lady so try again. I can't believe I'm even having this conversation, it's ridiculous.

Because people know if they do that then they get banned as it's an insult, it's not that hard to work out :shrug: That's what I meant by people doing it slyly thinking that they can get away with it by directing it at fb when it becomes an issue.

I've never read so much sh!t in all my life. What do you think I am? I was called a cat lady myself on Thursday and the person who said it isn't to far away either. It was removed for obvious reasons but a moderator will be able to clarify this.

People direct it at Facebook because that's what it means. Not everything is a bloody conspiracy or some sort of coded message towards other people on here.

Pretty sure people mean casuals (non-forum members etc) but it's only an issue to take the attention away from their slut shaming and appearance attacks which is a lot worse than the whole cat lady thing.

I actually find this forum pretty mild compared to other sites. I agree people shouldn't be personally attacking each other but I've not actually seen anything bad. I think a little bit of trolling can liven things up now and again.
