Doctor Who is cheesy TV.

Many characters stories are apparently done and wont return in the future and they are

Cybermen
Daleks
Missy
River Song
Vastra
Jenny
Strax
Weeping Angels

Morgan. 10-09-2018 08:07 PM

Doesn't the article just say they won't be in the net series at least, but there's opportunity for return (except Missy)?

Daleks and Cybermen - they'll be back, they can't axe the most iconic villains from the show forever.

As for the others, they're all Moffatt inventions so I won't miss them massively.

Synopses for the first two episodes and the second episode title have been revealed.

Nobody's said anything about stories being "done". Although Moffat specific creations like River Song, he's said himself her story is over.

All Chibnall has done is confirmed we have no returning characters/villains in series 11. Which is only a good thing.

Nothing would stop any of them returning at any point in the future.

Not a fan of the comic book/Sarah Jane Adventures aspect to the promos this series.

The blobs on the right and the amber stuff are giving me Fringe teas.

"We don't get aliens in Sheffield." In a South Yorkshire city, Ryan Sinclair, Yasmin Khan and Graham O'Brien are about to have their lives changed forever, as a mysterious woman, unable to remember her own name, falls from the night sky. Can they believe a word she says? And can she help solve the strange events taking place across the city?
This actually sounds so epic. :amazed:

Calderyon 17-09-2018 11:18 PM

Let's see how it turns out, but I am concerned.

AProducer'sWetDream 17-09-2018 11:20 PM

I don't mind the posters tbh. I'm not in love with them I just thing they're trying to emulate Marvel a little bit.

If it gets more people watching idc
