For reference you could take both Fight Club and American Psycho as comparisons.
I love both of those movies. I love both of those movies because I have the media literacy to know what the message of those movies actually is. However I also know that there are a lot of wee boys out there wetting their knickers imagining themselves as Tyler Durden or Patrick Bateman... Not realising that - like Arthur Fleck - these are pathetic, miserable and broken characters who you are not supposed to hero worship :facepalm:. |
