I do honestly think Atkinson needs to be investigated and the VAR team, very dodgy today

Denver 20-10-2019 05:56 PM

Who would have thought our best players would have been Lallana and Keita though?

Is that allowed?

Because if so then I want to Referee some Birmingham City games.

We went two full games without conceding a goal. One of those games was actually in the Premiership. We're back to normal now.

Emery is completely clueless.

Spurs won 5-0 tonight the same on Sunday to make it a perfit 10 :cheer2:

Rufus 25-10-2019 09:04 PM

Wow Leicester absolutely ruined Southampton.

MTVN 25-10-2019 09:07 PM

My fantasy team scored more points tonight than the whole of last week thanks to Vardy (and Maddison) lol

GiRTh 25-10-2019 10:07 PM

I remember when Brendan Rodgers was touted as an Arsenal manager. Typical Arsenal fans, like me, said no chance. I wonder how he's doing?

Mystic Mock 26-10-2019 12:19 AM

A fantastic result for Leicester last night, they looked like a top 4 team, even if Southampton weren't at their best.

Luckily for Southampton fans the only way is up from here on out. I just hope that they give Hassenhutl a bit more time.

They are a top 4 team imo.

The thing is Rodgers doesnt know how to set up to defend, he shipped over 50 goals per season in 3 year worth us

Tbh I agree with you. I just didn't wanna be the first one to suggest it in case people thought I was being OTT.

And @WickedSkengMan, you're probably gonna end up being right as Leicester will throw away points through the season to stop them from being in contention for the title with Liverpool and Man City.

This situation has been caused by Emery. He plays Xhaka even when he makes mistakes, Xhaka then makes even more mistakes, fans get on him, Emery still starts him in every league game. Its compounded when you look at how Emery treats Ozil.

These decisions are going to get Emery the sack

michael21 27-10-2019 05:56 PM

I agree with this.

It was a huge error that Xhaka was made to be captain in the first place and I struggle to understand why Emery persists with starting Xhaka week after week, when people can clearly see he is an average player at best.

Kinda feel for players like Aubameyang also as the midfield just lack a lot of creativity, hopefully this game will be a wake up call for Emery to start Torreira more and bring Ozil back into the squad and really change things up heading into the next fixture.

Ghendouzi is turning into the player we thought we were getting when we signed Xhaka.

This has been coming to a head for a while and I think Emery's poor judgement is the biggest culprit. Xhaka played Ok today so I see why he was p*ssed that he was getting taken off.

The boos didnt start till he slowly drudged off the field dragging his heels. He's s the captain, run off the pitch and let the team get on with it. His reaction was a disgrace. Surely he cant play, never mind be captain in the next few games.

Agree with all of this GiRTh.

I feel Xhaka has reacted so badly to this situation I don’t think he should remain as captain. It’s disrespectful to the fans that pay all that money to watch the team play, if they are unhappy with how the team or a specific player is performing, then they have a right to voice their frustrations.

Xhaka had an ok game today but I think the boos were more to do with the fact that since he’s been at Arsenal he hasn’t really proved himself to be worthy of that captains badge and Emery’s really poor judgement and tactics.

I don’t think this whole thing be blamed entirely at just Xhaka, like you say Emery’s poor judgement is what’s been causing this situation to be brewing for a while.

Arsenal Fan Tv has been brilliant so far. Back to the glory days of about 2015.

michael21 31-10-2019 07:26 PM

Anyone know what the table would look like with out var

GiRTh 31-10-2019 08:26 PM

Thats not an apology. I kinds knew this was going to happen as the disrespect between this player and fans has been going on for ages. We'll see if he's still captain on Saturday; my guess is he will be and thats not gonna fly with the arsenal fans.

The manager needs to lead on this issue and I doubt he will.
