Unlike with BB, I wouldn’t mind players on this show knowing each other. Could make some interesting dynamics.

If they keep sending catfish celebs in, the players are gonna catch on and keep voting them out and itll get boring. Keep it to one every few series tbh

I think the genius of it is the players genuinely won’t know they’re celebrities

Well no, but as Richard is only staying for a week as it is, he’ll be revealed to everyone at the end of his stay (i seem to remember some catfishes didnt meet anybody, they filmed video messages for the group) so surely after so many rounds of this continuing to happen theyd all catch on.

There was only one catfish revealed in series 1... Sinead/Christopher.

That said Genelle left The Circle and revealed her secret to the group via a video message.

I wouldn't consider her a "catfish" in the strictest sense since she was generally herself but chose to keep certain aspects of her life a secret.

WRONG there was a middle aged woman catfish called Mairead who posed as a younger woman in her 30's

Not to mention the winner Alex who posed as Kate

I'm glad as she was literally a FEMALE Freddie !! and i can tell she was going to become very annoying , plus she even stole his storyline from last year and it's boring   .

I didn't say Sinead/Christopher was the only catfish. I said they were the only catfish to be revealed to the group via video message.

So I meant to only watch the launch before bed, immediately had to watch the second episode too. Really into this. I didn’t watch last year because of BB and the fact that Freddie made me want to kick the telly.

Interesting page here from Wikipedia about Tim...

Freddie was a huge headache to watch , but i still enjoyed last year's show and i'm glad Alex won .

Tim was a member of ukip i did NOT expect that ! , what's weird is he seems to be more of a Torie judging by his views on The Circle . But he also wanted to remain with Brexit which is interesting.

Just watched last night's ep. I'm hooked! Glad I decided to give it a chance this time

Denver 26-09-2019 10:29 AM

Tim is gay?

Rob! 26-09-2019 10:53 AM

Oh dear. 600k for last night. Seems stupid to put it out at 10.

Rob! 26-09-2019 10:56 AM

RATINGS: #TheCircle continued with 600k viewers last night, up 200k on last year and averaging 17% for 16-34's - winning the slot!

Good start, especially being 50% up year on year, but my god it deserves SO much more

Rob! 26-09-2019 11:00 AM

I mean I suppose it’s worth remembering that Love Island struggled to hit 500k in it’s first series

I thought the whole point of UKIP was that you want Britain to be independent from the EU? The clues in the name :joker:

Vanessa 26-09-2019 12:30 PM

I'm really enjoying it. I think its something new and different. And it's growing in popularity.

It should be on at 9. Not everyone can watch it live at 10.

Not a UKIP member being a remainer

Who knew Riley had a heart

Yep, this season actually had some good queer+ rep

Emelle is also gay and Woody is bisexual

That is just so weird to me, it’s like an SNP member being a No Thanks campaigner or a Green member supporting fossil oil.

But he's not a member of UKIP anymore , so I'm actually warming to him . Especially his views on brexit .
but hey politics is still annoying
