Obviously this is not the case.

To feel bad for his wife is totally understandable but to disagree with what he's done or "how long he left it" is really for no-one to say because coming out is incredibly hard and I think those of us who came out earlier in life are EXTREMELY lucky because I can imagine the burden gets worse and worse as you get older and let more and more of your life pass by without properly coming to terms with it.

You make some very valid well thought out points.

It would have been better to possibly have his wife there with him so she could have explained her stance on it and showed her support to stop the theorising about how she is or is not taking it

Yes I think that would have been a lot better too, I also saw earlier that holly has now said she has known about it for a long time so I'm hoping his wife did too.

Yeah, I thought his wife was going to be with him during his chat about it on This Morning and not Holly tbh, I was a bit surprised to see her there reading his statement and stuff, i know they are co-hosts but huh?

I assume they are best friends irl and he requested that Holly was there to help him go through with it

If on DOI on Sunday he’s not skated out onto the rink atop all the male professional skaters, in his Joseph robe while Diana Ross ‘I’m coming out’ plays, all of this was for nothing

No wonder H was saved last week.

..Jigs....you’ve put it so perfectly...it must be so incredibly difficult for both Philip and his wife...he seems to be surrounded by family love and support...but that won’t necessarily have made it and will make it easier for him...

that is certainly how the PR material he launched today would want you to believe. It seems it has been successful

Marsh. 07-02-2020 06:17 PM

The Queen asked him to be gay for a week to deflect from Andrew. D:
