I don't think that much is expected tbh, we see Kate 4 or 5 times a year doing something, and after that she can pretty much please herself, its as onerous a task as you want it to be and as Harry is the spare even less was expected of his wife, just like Annes husband, don't even know his name or Edwards wife...is she Sophie something?

...I also think it’s because some of the general public feel an unhealthy ownership of the Royal family....WE PAY FOR ThEM/WE OWN ThEM/DID WE SAY HE CoULD MARRY HER.....etc, type thing...

That mixed in with some good old fashioned racism, especially when you consider how the press covered both Kate and Meghan.

The gossip rags and the Channel 5 documentaries said so, so it must be true!

Especially someone you don't know at all and has absolutwly zero input into your life.

Extremely strange comments.

You know when you get on a train and you're sat behind a couple of people talking about soap operas, and they always discuss the show as though they actually know these people?

Welcome to the thread.

You may find it hogwash but I've heard from two friends that directly know you that it isn't :smug:

Ammi 26-07-2020 01:30 PM

...it’s cool and dandy to think something is hogwash as well, we don’t need to justify or find reasons for that...although we usually look at our reasoning, it’s helpful.....
