Its said that loved ones that have passed come and get you...A week before my mum passed away I sat at her bedside with my husband and she looked towards the corner of the room where there was just a wardrobe and gestured with her hand and said "Go away"...she didnt look happy. The nurse was in the room at the time and said they tend to hallucinate. I just think she wasnt ready to go that day....
But she went peacefully the following week.

Whether you believe in that stuff or not...its actually mentally comforting...but we all know the Morphine helps you along the way.
