The prequel

‘Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall
conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.’’ Isaiah 7.14

The main event

And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths
and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.’
Luke 2.7

Angels and shepherds

‘And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of
great joy that will be for all the people.‘ Luke 2.10

Wise men

‘They went into the house, and when they saw the child with his mother
Mary, they knelt down and worshipped him. They brought out their gifts of
gold, frankincense, and myrrh, and presented them to him.’ Matthew 2.11

The reason for the season

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever
believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send
his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world
might be saved through him"

MERRY CHRISTMAS TIBB

Merry Christmas LT

I’ve been doing catch up this morning - great messages everyone, and a lovely reminder of some great Xmas classic songs. You are all awesome.

I’m crap at this kind of stuff
So I’m going to have to bluff
By writing a silly rhyme
To you all at XmasTime
Can’t post pics or a Xmas song
I’ve never learned, I know that’s wrong
So what sentiments can I express
To raise a smile, maybe impress?
None I fear, it’s all been done
By all before me, every one
So my Xmas message is simply this
Eat your fill and get well pissed
And to H&M fans (there aren’t many)
Get indigestion and need a Rennie!

(Ha ha, Just kidding, had to get H&M in there somewhere, it would be expected of me) :hehe:

We all have our different ways and characters in our crazy TIBB family, but we are all the same really; we just want to love and be loved by those who matter to us so I hope EVERYONE has a VERY HAPPY and HEALTHY XMAS AND NEW YEAR with those you love.
Enjoy! Xx

first of all a nice new christmassy song, and some promo of our junior eurovision 2021 show today (15:00 UK Time, 16:00 CET) all christmas themed that one this year

as for poems i am not good at those so i am not going to even try and possibly fail at the most embarrassing way possible

but here it goes a nice uplifting message i guess
-----------------------
Merry Christmas to everyone on this forum

recent times have been tough, stressful due to the times of the pandemic what we all live in now

but let this not ruin the most wonderful times of the year and let the christmas sparkle give you a nice boost of positivity and happiness into 2022

have a safe and healthy christmas and happy new year, but also stick to the covid regulations

but as our PM Mark Rutte last night said in his press conference, don't ignore your elderly relatives either, now is that time especially they can use more love from you than ever before

short but powerful message i hope, i'm not that good in speeches, long messages

Kate! 19-12-2021 09:36 AM

Merry Christmas to you and your family. X

Cherie 19-12-2021 09:37 AM

Strictly Jake 20-12-2021 08:13 AM

My turn on the calendar!

I've already been enjoying all the good stuff this time of year offers since Friday!! New Pjs and dressing gown and slippers and just watching TV and films with my wife and kids. Having chocolate, cake, cheese and crackers etc. Drinking Bailey's and gin and tonics. It's been cracking so far. I already don't know what day it is and thats great. We haven't got covid but we are pretty much isolating for the week this week as it's crazily busy out there and we have plans this weekend to stay safe for. But there is tons to do at home such as play games etc. It's been lovely. I hope you are all sorted with your plans and really take some time to be happy after a truly awful year. Be happy and merry and enjoy yourselves. All the best!!

And here is the spice girls because why not!!

Kate! 20-12-2021 08:16 AM

Aww Jake that's truly lovely. You paint such a nice picture of family life with your words. Glad you're having a lovely time. All the best. Xx
