Goodness me, I cannot grasp the determination there seems to be to set out to demolish a guy for only trying his best. It's relentless fault finding with him on and on. However only from those who don't like him yet keep.going on about him. He has a really good voice and as you say on ballads he can more emotionally express them better too by his vocals. Although King, Shine and Sweet Talker to name 3 are absolutely ace songs he recorded. Nothing wrong with the guy but you'd think he was a mass murderer because some didn't like his performance in a song contest. Good grief, what a crime that must be to do a performance some didn't like so deny and rubbish his talent However, he actually is also a brilliant actor as was demonstrated perfectly in Its A Sin. We know that though Zizu. |
you two just cant accept you backed a total loser
sh1t song, poor singer, dreadful woke staging in a dirty men's toilet (apt) give it up lol :laugh2: |

No singer warrants your relentless demolishing of them for just being in a song contest. It's rather mystifying. You just never stop. You're supposed to really dislike him yet seem to cannot stop talking about him. If I disliked a singer or anyone who couldn't impact on my life like you do Olly Alexander. I'd not want to even acknowledge or mention him let alone day after day keep on about him. Plus we didn't back a loser, he wasn't last or on nil points or bottom 5 like you predicted he'd be. Anyhow in the ESC there is only one participant who comes through to win the contest. 24 others cannot even if they had equal votes. So the rest are other placed participants in Eurovision not losers. It just happens only one gets the winner title. I never expected him to win. The UK I doubt will ever win an ESC again. Unless the image of the UK ever gets past the negative view most of the World has of the UK. Even the group Blue couldn't win in their year.despite being popular in Europe. So how could we back a loser when all we were doing was supporting him, because WE like him. Israel didn't win either you know that don't you?. So you must have backed a loser too. |

It is as Kazanne said elsewhere.
Double standards to be criticising all male routine and staging that may be possibly mildly suggestive. While not a word on mixed or all female ones being so. That's interesting. |

No so not sure what comparison you make.? mildly suggestive? embarrassing |

Someone is embarrassing themselves but it ain't me. |

That's why my proposition is to accept both of them. |

LT not liking the gay singer. Shocking

I really rate him as an actor. I think he's talent

Oh honestly here we go again.
Viewers figures are down because people are turned off by the whole Eurovision set up. I do my best in life to avoid anything with stuck up prude Andrew Pierce goes on about. Another gutter trash Daily Mail connection. I don't think I've agreed, and proud I haven't too, with 90% Pierce says. He's regularly on Good Morning Britain, with another useless ornament, Kevin McGuire. They're both more like the 2 grumpy men from the Muppets. Rambling on all the time, talking over each other. I always switch off Good Morning Britain when that pair are on. As I said yesterday, the obsessive relentless attempts to demolish a singer who entered a song contest because of not liking him for his personal life possibly. Going on day after day. Is going from one absurdity to another. I'd myself prefer my energy used on people I like not wasting my time on celebrities I may not like. Each to their own I guess. It's still mystifying. |
Viewing figures probably got a boost last year with the UK hosting.

So Eurovision has always'' had an intolerance of others individuality. Doubt they were against her just for her sexual preferences however and try to demolish her personally. Did she always perform with no shoes on. Did anyone know why? |
I didn't watch Eurovision just watched the last of the voting, its clear the viewership gave their opinion on Olly, oversexualising on a family viewing show is a no no and the viewers gave their opinion, same when Ekin Su appeared in a body stocking in DOI she was bottom 2, next week she wore something wholesome and she was saved  No one wants to watch sexy acts with their kids....

Olly Alexander will represent the UK at Eurovision 2024

I didn’t agree with a word they said .. they didn’t even know anything about his music career… one of those idiots said he was a great actor but wasn’t a singer That said , whilst I love Olly and all his music I felt uncomfortable watching his performance . Why make it so overtly sexual anyway.. wether he used male or female dancers .. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

People forget that at that time bands like the beatles and the stones were considered heretics for daring to have long hair. I grew up in a fabulous time  |
