the BBC truly are so PC

 UK once again showcasing themselves as such hypocrites

Nicky91 17-02-2025 04:21 PM

Kant is the maltese word for singing

that those woke bbc morons immediately think of the curse word, not my problem, this also explains why everything is so dead boring in festivals like glastonbury :hehe: with such PC behaviour by the british public

british artists performing in netherlands, germany love singing their songs like they should and no ''clean versions''

so withdraw then UK if you wanna moan

Oh you’re such a pointless troll and stop generalising us. The report was the BBC were worried they’d get some complaints (which they probably will from a few people) if they air the song uncensored. I don’t agree with the people that may complain but stop going for the entire UK.

Crimson Dynamo 17-02-2025 05:10 PM

when is the UK one being released?

I mean… she knows exactly what she’s doing and exactly what it sounds like… and who says “I’m serving singing” when you’re screaming and off key for alot of the song anyway?

It’s not a good song but it will do well for obvious reasons

Yeah, overall is a pretty weak and forgettable song.

Benjamin 17-02-2025 07:48 PM

Eurovision odds to win so far (I’m only counting ones where we know the artist and song)

Finland - 8/1
Estonia - 18/1
Malta - 20/1
Czechia - 20/1
Belgium - 22/1
Austria - 25/1
Lithuania - 30/1
Ireland - 33/1
Ukraine - 50/1
Armenia - 50/1
Poland - 50/1
Greece - 55/1
Norway - 60/1
Albania - 80/1
Latvia - 100/1
Luxembourg - 100/1
Slovenia - 100/1
Spain - 100/1
Montenegro - 200/1

Overall so far I’m not in love with any songs with a passion. I really hope we have some actual bops still to come or this is going to be a forgettable year.

Likely to be in the next couple of weeks now. The majority of internal selections tend to start releasing their songs early March

I’m glad Finland and Estonia are looking good… also hope Ireland does decent

Nicky91 18-02-2025 07:20 AM

Netherlands song is released on February 27th

it'll be an ''song what can be a international hit, but also quite ethnic, with a personal meaning however anyone can relate to the song''

it'll be bilingual language wise, so either dutch/french or english/french, we'll have to wait and see which of the two he went for

one of the songwriters is Arno Krabman (whom also composed S10's 2022 entry De Diepte which came 2nd in the semi final as well as a decent 11th place in the final) so this is Arno's 2nd eurovision composition (he is a veteran in our modern nederpop scene)

Can you not just ever be like “yeah this isn’t for me” without your utter drivel vitriol.

Benjamin 20-02-2025 03:40 PM

Not sure if we’ve spoken about Norway’s entry, but a load of shite.

Vanessa 20-02-2025 03:45 PM

Italian entry still isn't confirmed
