My friend's Colombian, and he told me a lot about it.

He said the first series was hugely successful, but in the second series they made their Betty beautiful and she married their version of 'Daniel'. It went downhill from there.

Really? I would hate for that to happen in Ugly Betty

I would say you can watch it on 4OD, but you can't if you are in the ROI

Good episode tonight!

I may be alone on this, but I have to admit that I'm getting really fed up of the Betty/Henry relationship. And there was barely any Amanda in this episode! But other than that, I enjoyed it!

001steven 09-11-2007 10:58 PM

loved tonights epi great 9/10..... i really love Ugly Betty it is so great, funny and enterttaining............ i hope Ugly Betty goes on for years :spin2::spin2::spin2:

Matt 09-11-2007 11:13 PM

Glad you enjoyed it :)

Next week there is NO Ugly Betty. Instead, Channel 4 will show the "50 Greatest Comedy Sketches".

I'm presuming it's because it's Children In Need night... on Comic Relief night this year, they showed three hours of Betty repeats

MarkWaldorf 10-11-2007 11:31 PM

Ah that's a shame. Wasn't next weeks one the Posh episode?

I think on Comic Relief last year they just showed the episode from the previouse week so they'll probably just do that for children in need.

No. According to advanced listings they're replacing it with the 50 Greatest Comedy Moments or something like that.

K, well it doesn't really matter. Everyone will be watching children in need anyway.

If they repeated UB like they did with Comic Relief I would actually watch the repeats instead. I watched them when they did it with Comic Relief!

Just saw this on Digital Spy:

Lindsay Lohan in talks to star in Ugly Betty

Lindsay Lohan is in talks to star in three episodes of hit US show Ugly Betty, it has been reported.

The actress will play a fallen beauty queen who is forced to work at a fast food restaurant after falling behind with her rent.

A show insider told the New York Observer: "Betty tries to help Lindsay's character by getting her a job at Mode, the fashion magazine where she works on the show."

However, production is expected to cease on the programme after its writers joined the WGA strike earlier this week.

Stars Becki Newton, Ana Ortiz and Ashley Jensen joined a picket line on Thursday, while America Ferrera and Rebecca Romijn have also been spotted with placards.
